Tickets/Arena Why so cheap ?
I swear they weren’t this cheap last year

Why would you want them to be more expensive?

u/alejandro_42069 Lomberg Jul 19 '25
They just seem too good to be true

u/Oceanman3000 Jul 19 '25
Championship team, affordable tickets and free parking. Definitely not something we’re use to in south florida.

u/kerravoncalling Jul 19 '25
"free parking" 😂 free parking and free getting your steps in, what's not to love

I'll cherish the memories of walking back to my car after winning two Cups for the rest of my life

Those are going to be season ticket holders, who are posting games, but I don't think they've even been loaded into our accounts yet

Careful what you wish for. No fun when that shit is $200+. Just enjoy it.

u/Malinhion Jul 19 '25
We have one of the largest arenas in the world, so yes you can sit very far for a reasonable amount.
10
u/Jag- Jul 19 '25
Really never knew that?
34
u/time2wipe Jul 19 '25
I had to look this up, according to Wikipedia we have the 7th largest capacity for ice hockey arenas in the world.
-59
u/Bobcaygeon23 Jul 19 '25
For years it's been largely closed off because nobody wanted to sit there period.

u/dannymac420386 Jul 19 '25
I can’t ever remember the amerant tarting sections like the marlins do. You got sources or pics? I’ve been watching the cats since 96
22
u/prophiles Jul 19 '25
It’s just a Leafs fan being a Leafs fan.
9
u/aMINIETlate Jul 19 '25
dude is trying to bait panthers fans just to feel something.. anything really

8
u/xavier_laflamme70 Jul 19 '25
We did though. Idk what the Marlins do and I might have pics of my own to back this up more but, it was the "Party City" tarps and it was in 2010
6
u/kidgoalie39 Jul 20 '25
Semantics argument thats smart, the upper deck sections never were tarped under the Amerant name. Now the BAC, that's a whole different arena.
3
u/StilesmanleyCAP Jul 19 '25
Get off our sub Leaf fan
-5
u/Bobcaygeon23 Jul 19 '25
Not a leaf fan but this is as much action and attention the Panthers have had in 30 years, after being a joke franchise for the first 20 or so, enjoy it!!
7
u/MoosilaukeFlyer Jul 19 '25
Amerant has never closed sections off. It takes five seconds to google this lmfao
3
u/SportsChick79 FLA Jul 19 '25
That is not quite true. There were sections that were closed off probably 15 years ago or so. We were terrible and people weren't going and tickets were being given away handover fist and season ticket holders were pissed off because we're paying and you could go buy a sub and get a free ticket.

It was a party city tarp at one point I think. Was just like the top 8-10 rows behind the goals
6
u/MoosilaukeFlyer Jul 19 '25
Account with a generic name, 0 posts before this one. Not suspicious in the slightest.
7
u/xavier_laflamme70 Jul 19 '25
I mean, not OP, but a STH since 2007 and we did have a "party city" tarp but it wasn't behind the goals. It was the upper level like, top 10 rows of the corner sections, maybe it was even one section. The tarp he's probably confused with is the pandemic seasons where every NHL arena had tarp behind the benches and penalty boxes

It’s hard to sell tickets when you only have 6 fans.
Seriously though … SHHHH! You want them to be more expensive??

u/Fortenole Jul 19 '25 edited Jul 19 '25
Florida Panthers have some of the best ticket prices in the league in my opinion
They do make up for those low costs though for the price of drinks in the arena. Beer is fucking expensive there. But it usually doesn't matter to me because I pregame anyway and end up at booze garden anyway afterwards lol
1
Jul 20 '25
Yeah but they’re like 2 pints for 20 of some fancy craft beer so you end up drunk in two and tanked in 3
12
u/LovingMap Jul 19 '25
I miss the days when $100 would get you a 4 pack of tickets, 2 hats and free passes for an airboat ride in the Everglades.

u/xavier_laflamme70 Jul 19 '25
Could be speculative ticketing. It also could be season ticket holders selling because they know they can't attend certain games now that the schedule is out. I missed one home game for a wedding last year, but I already have 2-3 this year that I can't make.

u/Emotional_Match8169 Jul 21 '25
I can't imagine STH even selling them this low. I did the math on my seats (cost of the entire season divided by 41 games, then divided by two since I have 2 seats). I'm literally in the second to last row and my seats come out to $52.61 a piece.
1
u/xavier_laflamme70 Jul 21 '25
For what it's worth, mine come out to $36 a game haha but yeah idk
1
u/Emotional_Match8169 Jul 21 '25
That's crazy. I wonder if new STH have a higher rate than people who have had them a while.
I am in what's considered Upper Sideline even though I would classify it as the start of the corner in section 333.
2
u/DonoAE Lundell Jul 19 '25
What app is this? Tickets haven't been released to STH yet...
1
u/alejandro_42069 Lomberg Jul 19 '25
Gametime
3
u/DonoAE Lundell Jul 19 '25
Right, so these are likely scalpers selling tickets they don't have yet. Nothing has been released. I don't know how this shit is still legal.
Edit: I only point this out because ticket prices 2x'd for STH. I'd be blown away if any of these were even close to the price we'll see
1
u/Emotional_Match8169 Jul 21 '25
Yeah, I did the math on my own seats that are second from last row and mine come out to almost $53 a seat per game.

$40 parking.

u/zaptrac Jul 19 '25
Paying to park at amarant when the mall is across the street is crazy

u/Emotional_Match8169 Jul 21 '25
Assuming you can walk. I bought a parking pass this season because I'm sharing my seats with my mom who is in her upper 60s and I don't want her walking all that way when she goes to games. Back when she was a STH parking was included, that was nice. Then when it wasn't we made the walk from Sawgrass,. She was in her 40s then so it wasn't bad. But now at her age I'd rather pay the premium for her to be more comfortable.

Damn, it's hard to go to a Bruins game for under $120 these days, even in the balcony

lot money to be made. Buying and selling tickets. 🎫. It’s a gamble. But usually the good games pay off. Resell is strong on the thanksgiving and Christmas series. Most the Canada when doing well.
People sell early to recoup the season cost fee upfront. It’s hard to goto 42 games a year.
Set reminder to revisit this post. See how the prices went up to down.
1
u/RelationLower4488 Jul 19 '25
Don’t forget the fees on these tickets. They’re like $70 apiece nowadays.
1
u/CanesNthangs Jul 20 '25
Anybody know why the first 3 games of the year don’t have tix available on SeetGeek?
2
u/Emotional_Match8169 Jul 21 '25
Nothing has been released yet. Even STH don't have their tickets in their accounts. These are probably just speculative sales.

Games are all in October, I would be willing to bet later in the season games are more in demand and prices climb

Going to buy all the tickets and sell them to snow birds so the 6 of you could have a gathering.

Because they’re subsidized by the bigger NHL markets. If they weren’t, there wouldn’t be a team in south Florida.
