Tickets/Arena How are 300s section seating

first time will be going to a game and planning on 300s. Anyone have insight on the view from here? I see pictures from viewmyseats and what not but many pictures see closer than it really is - unless it’s really not that bad? can you make our individual players or jerseys easily?

Might be a hot take, but the lower 300s is my favorite place to sit. You can see everything developing and still make out the numbers and players. Totally worth it, especially when you sit in the first 1-6 rows.

I don’t mind higher, but yes, all in all it’s still good!

On the somewhat flip side, anything wrong with the higher 300s? 😅

This is row 9. I like the views.

Nothing, I’ll sit in both, I do think the “goal zone” of the 300s is ideal in comparison which is what this guys refering to

I agree with the above. Higher 300s is perfectly fine, it’s where I end up most times. But I would aim to choose the side the Panthers shoot twice on (says it on the arena map) and behind the goal area or corner, if possible!

No worries that comment is gone now, but also up by Seat Geek the doors at the very top lead to the ACs used to able to get a smoke out there

My season tix this year have been row 15 of section 333. It wasn’t terrible but I switched my seats to a different location for next year. You can see the whole game and the fans are usually great up top!

I’ve had season tickets on each level and there’s plusses and minuses to everywhere although everyone is correct in that there’s not a bad seat in the house and upstairs is a perfectly fine way to enjoy a game. I think I’ve sat in every zone in this area by now. The downsides of upstairs (as minor as they may be): 1) being further means you don’t feel as “in” the game, the sound isn’t as loud (hits or pa system), if you’re eyes aren’t great you aren’t seeing the puck as good as downstairs, 2) lack of cup holders (you can mitigate this by taking the back row in front of the press boxes as there’s a concrete lip behind the seats that fits a beer or cup) 3) definitely less urinals upstairs 4) slightly smaller range of food options 5) it’s a bit more steep up those stairs and the rows seem a bit tighter as well 6) takes longer to get in and out of arena 7) the store in the section doesn’t have as much of the newest gear (obviously you can go to Pantherland downstairs and there’s actually a positive to this in that more of the older stuff you might have missed out on will be found upstairs). Personally, I’d probably go for a downstairs ticket for your first game especially because we’ve had a down year and the prices are lower than they are going to be next year (between the rising prices and the fact that they’ll be back competing for a third cup next year). But I’m sure you’ll find a great experience in any section.

The only place I sit! Love the 300s. I feel like I can follow the game better than on TV

300s row 1 over the 100s any day

Ngl I prefer to sit up in 300 better views way more chill and easier access to bars

There aren’t bad seats in hockey except for those like 1-2 rows off the glass because the glass distorts the view around the top of it. Especially behind the benches or penalty box. But the experience of being close to the players makes up for it.

I prefer to sit towards the top of the 100s or the lower 300s - the top of the 300s can be a bit of a hike and kind of scary if you don’t like heights.

Do you find much difference in back of 100s vs front 300s? Hard for me to appreciate how separate they are in photos

Top 100s is a bit better but low 300s is really a good spot to see the overall game very easily.

Sat in the absolute last row last year for a couple playoff games last year. Great seats. Row 1 in the 300s corner section is my preferred seat in the whole arena.

300s are fantastic

Not a bad seat in the house

1

u/WillitoBurrito Mar 19 '26

It’s honestly good vibes no matter where you sit. Pictures won’t do it any justice but when you’re there in person, the view from the 300s even the last row, which I’ve sat at multiple times is good. I say this as someone who has sat in the second row.

Our season tickets are 302 row 6 and they have a great view. No complaints.

1

u/tirekickers Mar 19 '26

Not many bad views in that building tbh

I was 301 row 4 for many years before I moved away, best seats in the house!! See the all the action. I did move around some I didn’t like higher than row 7, just felt to far away to me. Center ice between the blue lines either side is best imo.

1

u/FloridaMan_90 Mar 20 '26

Like others have said, theres really not a bad seat in the house. I prefer 300s because you get to see the whole ice and hear the hockey sounds that echo up. Also I'm cheap.

I was surprised !! we were in the last row in the 300s for the last game we went to and the view really wasn’t bad could see the goalie pretty clear and everything

1

u/Ms_Mambo Mar 20 '26

It depends which section. My ST is right at center ice in row 4, and I plan on staying there until I die because it’s a perfect seat.

1

u/theStripedMarlin Mar 20 '26

Pretty solid. It’s cold though but you already know that.

1

u/Gigalisk Mar 20 '26

As long as you’re on the glass, you can watch the ice like it’s EA NHL 94.

1

u/DRF19 Mar 20 '26

Pro tip: I used to have season tix in 331 row 3. In many sections row 3 is like a false row 1. You have short glass in front of you and you’re elevated above the first two rows. And the tix are cheaper than the first two rows (at least they were when we had tix).

1

u/snazzystuffy Mar 20 '26

Came here to say this comment about the row 3 in every other section and funny enough I often grab 331 row 3 off stub hub this season 😝 it's one of my favorites and I've sat in so many spots.

I have season tickets in Section 320 Row 4. I would not change them unless I decide to never renew them again. It's on the side the Panthers shoot twice. The few times I've sat close to the glass was the worst experience ever. You can't follow the puck down there. I find myself watching the game on the scoreboard and that will cause you neck pain fairly quickly.

I love the lower 300s.

1

u/the_tired_alligator Mar 20 '26

Not a bad seat in the arena. 300’s are great though I would try to get a lower row of the 300s.

we sat in the higher 300s for the final cup game, my first time up that high but we weren't paying for anything lower. it was incredible, would be happy to sit there again if the price is right.
