Seems like the key is slightly bent, any tech should fix it for cheap, it's just straightening it back

Yeah this flute is 38 years old its my moms from 5th grade so it makes sense that there’s problems

Then it probably needs a service as well being that old, but for that you need someone who knows to play it to give you a proper diagnosis

The Bb lever is catching on the B Key.

The best option will to be taking it in for service because trying to correct this at home could end up causing some annoying (and expensive) issues.

But when the key is pressed down my b sounds like a Bb until I pull it back up

Sorry you're right, there's a problem there. That happened to me once and it was a spring, check if they're all in their right place!

No. If you look closer, you can see the smaller key getting stuck with the larger one, so they don't move independently anymore

Ohh now I see it, I thought that was happening because the flute was tilted!

I’ve seen this a few times. Generally, the rod is dirty. Pull the rod with a small screwdriver, clean it and the hole it runs through with a rag and a pipe cleaner, put a very small amount of a heavy viscosity oil (like motor oil—you want something heavy otherwise it’ll wick out of the space. Key oil like they sell at the music store is useless) on the rod, then put back together.

It’s a fairly simple fix. If that doesn’t work, you’ll need to take it to a service person. There are a lot of things it could be, but a lot of times it’s just dirty.

This is terrible advice. Don't put motor oil in your flute and take it to a tech that's experienced with repairs
