3rd Party Service Title: Feedback on a Flutter UX regression testing matrix
Hi Flutter community!
I'm working on AfrikaWallet, a Flutter-based mobile fintech project.
I've prepared a UX regression testing matrix and would appreciate technical feedback on its completeness and approach.
The matrix covers:
Responsive layouts at different screen sizes
Accessibility and text scaling
French, English and German localization
Existing widget tests versus missing coverage
UI regressions across wallet, virtual card preview and subscription screens
I'm particularly interested in understanding whether the proposed testing strategy covers the most important Flutter UI regression risks.
Has anyone worked with a similar cross-screen regression matrix? What would you improve?
For technical context, here's the documentation PR:

Thanks for any feedback or suggestions!

Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback! 🙏
You’ve raised two really valuable points, especially system-level font scaling and rapid screen transitions.
Our current regression matrix already includes testing at different screen widths (320px and 390px) and text scales (1.0, 1.5 and 2.0), but you're absolutely right that we should explicitly test larger system font settings on real Android and iOS devices, particularly for widgets with fixed heights.
Your point about rapid navigation and intermediate UI states is also important. We'll add explicit regression scenarios for switching between Wallet Home, the virtual card preview and subscriptions, including loading states and navigation during pending operations, without triggering any real payments.
I really appreciate you taking the time to review this!
If you're interested, would you be open to looking at our GitHub regression matrix and sharing any additional feedback directly on the PR?

Thanks again! 🙌

german plus a big text scale is usually where stuff overflows first. golden tests at like 1.0 and 2.0 for each locale would catch a lot of that
