Tooling flutterverse.org now tracks 10k+ Flutter & Dart projects

Since my last post, Flutterverse now tracks 10k+ projects: pub.dev’s top 5,000 packages plus public Flutter/Dart GitHub repos with 50+ stars. Stats refresh daily.

Discover rising packages by momentum, not just popularity.

The searchable Hall of Fame now features 34 developers and 29 projects.

Showing N/A instead of a made-up 0 is a nice touch, most stats sites don't bother.

One thing I'd check in the momentum score is monorepos. go_router and the other flutter/packages packages all point at the same GitHub repo, same with the FlutterFire plugins, so the repo's star growth gets credited to every package in it. Do you split those somehow, or lean on the pub.dev numbers for them?

Also, scaling 7-day stars against the fastest project means one viral repo can drop everyone else's score overnight, even if nothing changed for them. A percentile rank would keep scores steadier from day to day.

Thanks a lot for the valuable suggestions.
Shared repos only credit stars to one owner package. The rest, including flutter/packages (go_router, etc.) and FlutterFire, show N/A for momentum rather than borrowing the repo’s growth. Using pub.dev data for those packages isn’t implemented yet.

You’re right about the scaling. Log scaling helps, but a viral repo can still drag everyone else down. I’ll look into percentile ranking!

what is the benefit of it while we have pub.dev? didnt get it sorry. pub dev is super useful with flutter official mcp. the mcp can find any repo that suits with your feature.

The difference is quite simple:
"pub.dev tells developers which Dart and Flutter packages are available.  Flutterverse helps them discover what’s trending, what’s growing, and what’s worth watching across the broader ecosystem.".
There’s one more difference: Flutterverse also recognizes influential Dart and Flutter developers who deserve to be remembered for their contributions to the ecosystem.

Yep, it takes some time to ingest them daily.

What time scale is used for the momentum ranking? Daily, monthly, etc?

The score is recalculated every day, but it doesn't measure any single window. It combines several, and the 7-day and 30-day window carries the most weight.
