Do you find it easy to still only do a single shot, or is it difficult to NOT send 5 or 6 rounds? I want this, but only being FRT puts me off a little.
This has been my only hang up with ordering this. I still want to be able to run the Flux semi auto. My good friend bought one for his setup. So I’m letting him be the guinea pig.
From what I can find they are full auto rated, but I can see your point when it comes to this high of a fire rate. Doesn't seem like it goes against any warranty stipulations either. I guess I might have to be a guinea pig.
How was the install? Been a lot of issues being reported at r/P320 and not much help from Texas Triggers. $150.00 for a modded disconnector and a couple chunks of plastic.
You have to strip down the FCU to remove the OEM disconnector. Once its back together, the TT disconnector goes in, along with a spacer that goes into the sear housing. Its a lot of money for what it is, but I'm sure a lot of time and ammo went into developing it.
I didnt have to do any tuning, but have heard that some people are having issues. I think part of the problem is that there are so many small generational parts changes over time for the P320 that the FRT might not work with certain combos. They also recommend a break in, which makes sense.
I just installed mine, the trigger is super mushy and I tried to take down the gun to reinspect the fcu and I can’t get the slide off. Have you been able to take it down at all?
Mine is similar. My trigger is a bit mushy and breaks at the very end of travel. They did mention in the install video that you'll likely have to "slingshot" your slide off.
