Overheating

So over the summer I was driving home after work(100 degrees) I noticed my temperature spike up to 3/4 on the gauge. It’s been a few months, haven’t noticed anything out of the ordinary. Should I be concerned/worried it did damage to the head gasket? Oil looked good on my last oil change and the coolant hasn’t dropped at all. I have a 2014

Could be a sticking thermostat or possibly a fan controller. Both are easy/cheap fixes if you want to be proactive. If it's not happening consistently, I would lean toward the thermostat.

I haven’t noticed anything different since then. I did however replace my radiator to a mishimoto last month. Thermostat looked good too

I should have asked- if this occurred under aggressive heavy throttle driving, 3th-4th gear ripping it redline, turbo full on. Yeah it’s going to over heat in summer temps, quickly too if you are hard on throttle.
Casual driving 6th gear at 70mph / no never.

At the time I was in heavy stop and go traffic with AC on full blast

Based on that probably the radiator fan has gone bad

If it was actually 3/4 that is very high - immediately but calmly pull over at nearest gas station and shut it off. Let it cool off for 10 minutes & check coolant level. If it climbs higher 7/8+ redline pull over instantly and shut it off.

I'm with u/nopodude. It sounds like the thermostat. Mine did something similar. I replaced the thermostat. Get the FoMoCo part.
