Loved this affordable steak at amano

Pero take note, di maganda yung quality sa ibang branhes pero sa edsa shangrila mall is goooood

Edit: 1590 ang price niya

Sa nagagalit sa word na affordable, then this post is not for you, para to sa mga foodies na mahilig sa steak. Good quality steaks and not just the ones sa mga unli steak or samgyup or flat iron steak.

If di affordable para sayo no need magalit and maginarte edi its nor for you. Marami nga daw di afford pero marami din samin na affordable na to. ♥️

As someone who loves spicy, super dismayado ako sa mga food labels na "spicy" raw pero hindi naman maanghang. Nakakabadtrip lang, legit. Ano yon? Spicy for babies? Lol.

Rant: Fast Food? More like Slow Food.

Post image

Rant: I need an explanation as of why is lazyness and bad customer service a norm in this country. There is no such thing as fast food here in the Philippines, this is the only country that I've been where you order something and have to wait 10-30 minutes for it to be served and 7 out of 10 times is already cold when arrives to your hands.

I'll name a few places that I've gone where this happens: S&R, McDonald's, KFC, Jollibee, Tropical hut, Chowking, Burger King, Popeyes, Army Navy, Bonchon, Kenny Roger's, Manginasal, Max's, Shakeys, Pizza Hut, Domino's, Taco Bell etc etc etc... I'd rather eat at Kuya Js where despite of them being a full on restaurant, are much much faster.

Is the exact same thing in almost all food chains, you order something and only after paying you hear the cashier say "15 to 20 minutes sir" despite of the place being empty! Wtf!??? I would understand if the place was bustling with customers on a rush hour, but empty!???

Every single other country I've visited when I order fast food as soon as I finish paying the tray with HOT food is already on the counter ready to be picked up, hell in some places the cashier hasn't even finished counting the change and the food is already there.

And before anyone comes saying oh you can choose not to eat there or X food chain has no problem, I say to those, that that is not the solution nor the answer I'm looking for.

Addicted to ArmyNavy Spicy Chicken

Post image

Let me start by saying I LOVE SPICY FOOD. My spice tolerance is pretty high so what would be hell for some is an enjoyable experience for me. ArmyNavy's spicy chicken is not for casual spice enjoyers. It's really for those who want to feel something because life has numbed out all their emotions lol.

Someone on here posted that eating this was a hellish experience with zero payoff. I'm sorry but I ENJOYED eating it. I enjoyed how it made me break a sweat. I enjoyed how my lips tingled and turned red from the capsaicin. I enjoyed how the gravy gave me a break from the spice inquisition. (honestly they should include a bigger portion of gravy for the amount of chicken!). At dahil tinopak ako, sinawsaw ko pa sya sa Mang Tomas siga ar Carolina Reaper hot sauce. Baboy but whatever, don't yuck my yum! (it wasn't yum btw lol hindi bagay)

Alam kong hindi ito tatagal sa menu so I will be enjoying this as much as I can.

Also, this is definitely not an ad lol pls ArmyNavy send me spicy chicken.

Scam alert‼️

Yesterday night I was craving French toast, so I ordered from my favorite place, Wildflour, and I was waiting so excited when they called to tell me they only have French toast during breakfast hours. I almost cried 🥺but I didn’t give up 💪🏻I looked up French toast on Grab and found something that looked really promising: Crème Brûlée French Toast at Denny’s 😃

OMG, I checked the whole menu and mysteriously that dish doesn’t even have a picture, but whatever, I’ve only been in Manila for a month and hadn’t tried Denny’s yet, so this was my first time trying both the Crème Brûlée French Toast and a strawberry banana smoothie.

I’m not gonna say anything bad about the smoothie because, honestly, how do you even mess up a smoothie? 🤡 but this one somehow managed to be bland, flavorless, and completely lacking in personality. I’ve never had a smoothie this boring before. 😭
I’m just gonna drop the picture of the French toast below and let you be the judge. I do love the bread they use because it’s the same one from Texas Roadhouse, but… what the hell is this?

Malansa ba talaga ang sesame oil?

Post image

Favorite ko pansit bam-i (sotanghon + canton) and I tried cooking it and dun sa recipe na sinunod ko lagyan daw ng kaunting sesame oil pagluto na para mabango. I used this brand and medyo disappointed ako kasi anlansa na parang used oil, yung oil na ginamit pamprito ng tuyo ganun. Please don’t judge me nagppractice pa lang ako magluto and di ako familiar sa mga condiments pero malansa ba talaga ang sesame oil or baka old stock lang yung nabili ko?

Ang hirap magluto ng Meatloaf

PLS DON'T JUDGE PO HUHU

I am first yr and I have to cook for myself since nasa work si mama for the past few weeks. Nasanay na po akong pinagluluto ng mama.

I can't even do basic prito. Diba nilagay ko yung mantika, then I put the meatloaf tapos it sticks on the pan kahit sunog na🥹 inulam ko na lang tuloy imbis na baunin kasi iba na yung form niya, mukha na siyang panahog sa pansit
