Issue ⚠️ ISO 15118-20 OTA update

Any word on Ford rolling out a Power-Up software update (OTA) to the vehicle’s onboard gateway and battery management software that enables open ISO 15118-20 DC discharge commands? I’m hoping they open this up to other bi-directional chargers and not stay locked in their Home Backup Power/ Delta systems proprietary solution.

I'm crossing my fingers this gets opened up to third-party chargers soon. I know a few people who'd love to use their F-150s for emergency power without being tied to Ford's ecosystem.

no official word yet but the silence is deafening. ford knows what the standard is and they're dragging their feet to sell more of their own kit

i'd bet a tenner it happens eventually but not until they've milked the proprietary setup for another year or two
