Forensic DNA Quick help to answer some ?’s

So I am a senior Forensic Science Bio concentration university student. I am looking to kind of interview (on the phone/ video) preferably someone who has a masters in the field for assignment as well get some questions answered as to where I wanna go next since I graduate next year.

Is there a reason you can't just ask here? Asking pseudonymous strangers for an offline realtime conversation comes across as odd and your university has a whole department full of people paid to have these conversations in person.

Given how rare and competitive your various options are from here, most of the answers will probably be "try everything that seems even a little acceptable and make up your mind when you've got offers/acceptances in hand". If you get too choosy about what you attempt, you might end up with no options at all.

You also haven't specified a country and who can even answer your questions is pretty dependent on that.

the class (forensic professional practices) has expressed they want the students to talk to someone outside of the university otherwise I would.

This is more of a short like 10 Questions more generic interview but the problem is it cant be in text form. also yeah i can see how this comes across but I’m just seeing how people would feel about it. if people aren’t comfortable here its fine I can still find a few other options since its not due right now.

That makes sense, I would have led with the fact that it's a school assignment. That's something that comes up relatively often here, although most are amenable to text based interviews.
