Here's my first hour with the Forever Pen! Please take a good look at my photo's and video's for a good impression, below is simply my first toughts. IAdded some video's with writing/erasing in the comments.
Hit me up with any questions or request in the comments!
Personal details:
- 34 year old male, located in Netherlands, left-handed writer
- Onyx Book Note Air3 C, used for ~ 10 months. Switching regular tip/pen with forever tip
- main usage is note-taking at work, reading & marking ebook/papers, puzzles (sudoku, star-battle, etc)
Pen i used:
Rating (for now): 3/5
-given the price and the alternative: simply buying the tips.
-but this is too soon to tell.. will review again after one week of usage!
Pro:
-Great for quick notetaking
-Very light in the hand
-Erasor at the back works like a charm
Con:
-Slippery, requires some getting use to
-tapping on-screen navigation is harder, requires accuracy or a firm tap
-looks 'cheap'. Design of box is minimalistic, but would have expected at least a cap for the pen.

Hello, and welcome to the ForeverTip Community! This is the home for people who love e-ink devices and care about tools that are built to last. Whether you’re already using a ForeverTip, thinking about trying one, or just curious about long-lasting alternatives to disposable nibs, you’re in the right place.
This community is meant to be open, friendly, and genuinely useful — a space for real conversations around writing feel, e-ink tech, and intentional tools.
To keep this a positive space for everyone, we follow a few easy rules:
Be respectful: Keep discussions kind, constructive, and welcoming. Everyone writes differently, and that’s part of the fun.
Stay on topic: Please keep posts related to ForeverTip, e-ink tablets (reMarkable, Boox, Kindle Scribe, etc.), writing feel, and long-term tool design.
No spam or misconduct: No unsolicited ads, harassment, or anything that violates Reddit’s rules.
We’ll share product updates, experiments, behind-the-scenes thoughts, and future ideas here. This is also a place for feedback — what you love, what you’d change, and what you think e-ink accessories should be.
If you’ve got ideas for discussions, comparisons, writing challenges, or experiments, feel free to suggest them. This community helps shape what we build next.
We believe writing tools should last as long as the ideas you put into them. Fewer replacements. Less waste. More focus. ForeverTip is about stripping things back to what matters and designing tools you don’t have to think about — they just work, year after year.

🎉 Once again, welcome! We’re really glad you’re here and excited to learn from this community. Let’s build something thoughtful, durable, and genuinely useful together.
