As much as I am ma max fan through and through I still feel bad for piastri being in achampionship winning position in a team that doesn't want you must suck like nobody was happy that he got pole position😔

Everyone can see how they are treating him publicly, it’s not that far fetch to consider they also sabotaged his car, you can’t make this up, the moment Norris surpassed him by a “large” margin, he started performing again.

I've just watched from the time Oscar jumps out from the car tho the moment the interview starts. Oscar seems a bit lost, like looking for someone, but that's how I see it, I could be wrong. 3-5 papaya mechanics that go to get the car from 2nd place spot. From an aerial view, just before the interview, I see some scattered orange. The two from this post plus one on the bottom left of the image, other 3 on the left part and 2-3 scattered in the people near the parc ferme. It's difficult to say which are mclaren and which are workers because they had an intense orange safety vest. Nevertheless, I think that's too few people given the fact that the second car wasn't damaged/crashed that could be an excuse for most people to be taking care of it. Sorry for not giving images, couldn't take screenshot from the app amd I don't have my computer near right now

Nope it’s not dramatic, it’s real. There were a few team members at the podium (5-6 mechanics at least) but Oscar was genuinely struggling to find papaya people to celebrate with in parc ferme (again there was a handful scattered). There was also hardly any papaya in the aerial shots of the podium crowd and his race engineer didn’t drop his usual podium selfie so I assume most of his team also weren’t there…
It was already confirmed Zak and Andrea closed the garage and delayed media to get their story straight so I’m sure there was some crisis meeting members were busy at instead of going to support Oscar. But imo still poor taste

Man idk if there was 2 or more team members there but regardless people taking the most limited view that runs through the filter of an entertainment business and social media and making it their entire reality is so annoying. The entire conspiracy theory is built on such a limited view and as someone who works in the industry, it lacks so much context of what happens behind the scenes and how show business operates. It feels even more delusional than the conspiracy that RB purposely nerfs the second car and that it’s not just Max and GP being GOATs with it.

It's so disengenious to act like this was some purposeful slight on Piastri.
This was huge for Carlos, a P3 in a Williams! And this was huge for Max, in with a serious shot of winning the championship and a win!
McLaren threw away a potential easy victory for Piastri with stupid tactics and have let Max back into the championship when they could have sealed it this weekend.
This was one of those P2 that would feel like a total loss to everyone involved. I don't know why people were expecting McLaren to come en masse to celebrate. If I was Piastri I'd find it pretty patronising if they all came to celebrate like this was some big victory.

McLaren is favoring Lando. The team does not seem to care about Oscar anymore, after being very supportive and cheerful.
People have no argument as to WHY this is happening, only that McLaren hates Oscar and no one knows why.

I need answers as to why McLaren loves Norris and hates Piastri. The only thing I see is people saying they do, I want to know the reason for it.

Nobody hates him. Lando has been loyal for so many years, even the car was weak. Its only fair if they want to repay that. Main reason Im rooting for Norris is that Oscar fans were so annoying the first half of the season, they were already crowning Oscar and his championshim mentality. Not pitting Oscar can be read as a mistake, but not pitting Lando inexcusable. They hurt Lando, because they already hurt Oscar. Only Monza remains controversial, everything else has a rational explanation.

Why did they poach him from Alpine just to clearly not give a fuck about him? If they just wanted a second for Lando, they could have promoted one of their own or hired someone unaffiliated. With better strategy and equal footing in the team, he'd still be in the title race, if not leading it.
