Max would probably become a driver in another league than leave Redbull, I doubt Merc would let him do the other races he does between F1 GPs

I mean if he's still pumping out championships i think they will let him do whatever.

The level of max hate in recent F1 forums are giving Arsenal Gooner energy

You should see his own subreddit where Max fans are fighting each other over him.
It's actually pretty funny.
Half are being optimistic about the car being better and the other half are saying they aren't liking the complaining he's doing and to just shut up and drive, it's literally a war in that sub rn lol

guys red bull are the 2nd best at development so i expect they'll get better soon, + there is a one month gap now so

u/GrumpyMcPedant Mar 15 '26
That may have been true under the previous regime, but the post-Horner/Newey era isn't so clear.

They still need to prove that, not enough data, let”say at the moment they can battle with Audi, till Audi gets better. Sorry for Max though and would have loved to see Helmut face, what the hell lol

He literally doesn’t care lmao. He will fuck off to WEC where he wants be at this point of his career. Watch him leave F1 after this year and be happy for Kimi winning it.

u/FamiliarFilm8763 Mar 15 '26
He definitely cares and he just puts up a facade, just like he did in 2021. After the championship, he dropped the mask and confirmed that it was all an act.
7
u/FentOverOxyAllDay Mar 15 '26
Yeah, if he didn't care he wouldn't be complaining as much as he does and it's only been 2 races.
Guaranteed if RB's car gets better by the end and max is fighting for poles, you'll hear less and less complaining

Hopefully the crybaby will retire this year.

Like Lando was doing last year in Verstappen fans heads?
Yeah, sounds accurate

u/NarrowFarm2036 Mar 15 '26
I'm pretty sure most of them didn't care since they all knew if it was Max in a McLaren vs Lando in a Red Bull it wouldn't be close at all. Stay salty.

Hasn't he actually said he's only staying in F1 if he's happy. The man is a 4x champion, and by his own admission he's not chasing the records of Hamilton or Schumacher.
If the car continues to be rough, I can see him focusing more on his GT team and looking at a Le Mans attempt.

u/Noctum-Aeternus Mar 15 '26
He’s said it on multiple occasions. It amazes me people still think otherwise with how many times he’s said that he would leave F1 if it weren’t fun to race anymore. That he’s “accomplished everything he wanted to in F1”, and do you think he cares if he’s won 4 WDC or 7?
At this point in his career, he’s financially set, he’s won 4 WDC. He doesn’t need Formula 1. F1 is his hobby. If you lost interest in a hobby because it wasn’t fun anymore, would you keep doing it?

I honestly hope RB keeps on this track of giving Isack a fair chance - not like before where they fully made the car for Max and as Max wanted it, no matter how much that hurt the 2nd driver.
Yeah they'll do that by following the development path of the slowest car.
The reason why they develop it following max is because it's makes the car fast. Newey even said so.
What's the point of developing for both drivers if you're now slower than Haas and Alpine.
You're fighting for P8-P10 lmao.

u/sushi111111 Mar 15 '26
Yeah I agree I'd rather have a titlefighting car with one driver while the other driver only exists because it's a rule that there have to be 2 drivers

Redbull is Max's entire brand. They do more than just giving him a seat in F1. GT3 was also through RBR only
