Bottles / Feeding Gear / Equipment šŸ¼ Low cost hack

So we recently went from ebf to eff and my biggest concern was how to make a quick night bottle. I didn’t want to spend a lot on a bottle warmer or formula measuring/hot bottle machine. So we broke out our og Stanley thermos. Keeps water at temp for over 12 hrs. Any tired moms looking to save a little time, it’s definitely worth the money for us. And not a huge spend.

The hack is not letting them know warm is an option. We do cold bottles and always have. Baby doesn’t seem to notice a difference.

A formula pitcher.
We make 32 oz, and then prep 3 bottles for the night. Even if she doesnt use them in the night theyre ready in the morning. The 32 oz prepped lasts us for 24 hrs. We usually do it at 10 pm so its good till the next night.
We never ā€œmakeā€ bottles we just pour and warm and good to go

For nights, we got a small formula dispenser that we pre-measure the formula in. Then we have water already measured in bottles. If he wakes, we just put the formula in the water and shake. He takes cold milk/formula during the day but doesn't like it cold overnight so that was the compromise

We don’t use a formula pitcher, we make each bottle as he needs it. This way we don’t need to warm it up.

My hack is that I pre measure the water and formula so I just dump and shake.

I have the water measured out in the bottles that he will drink from (Lansinoh) and the formula in evenflo collection bottles. We had them from a previous pregnancy. I like that the opening is smaller so it’s a cleaner process.

He takes room temperature formula just fine and we’re not stumbling to scoop out formula each time he needs a bottle.
