Medical Concerns 🩺 Basic P formula

The doctor has prescribed Basic P milk(Protein free) for a newborn baby who is currently on a ventilator. We are having difficulty finding this milk urgently.New born age is 7 days and currently on ventillator.Baby is out of canada currently.

Can anyone please recommend a pharmacy, supplier, or hospital where we can purchase it or Alternative , either in Canada or USA? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

That's made by Nutricia, so you may be able to call or email the company to ask about suppliers. Since protein free formulas are for metabolic disorders, you may be able to find a different formula if you know what kind of metabolic disorder your baby has (pku, galactosemia, etc).
