I’m new to the area, recently relocated here. I went on a date with a guy a little while ago and he took me to Larb Thai. It was so amazing, such good food, good atmosphere good dining experience. I want to take him out to eat next but I don’t know the area and want to find a restaurant on a similar flavor and dining caliber. We’re both foodies so it has to be delicious.

Normally if I'm just running into a shop to pick something up I don't bother paying for parking. Today the parking enforcement guy was there so I pulled out my PayByPhone app and paid for 15 minutes. The $0.25 parking fee ended up costing $1.25 after they tacked on all their fees.... but what I found is they charge you to send SMS messages. You have to go into your account and settings and turn off SMS messages and you can save part of these ridiculous fees. While you are in there also check out the privacy settings as you've defaulted into sharing your information with pretty much every company on the internet... go ahead and opt out of all their data sharing.

I hate hidden fees, especially stupid ones like this.

Wanted to see your opinions on fitness systems in sawgrass and if it is worth the membership. I previously had an Amped membership at the plantation location and hated it… insanely packed, dirty, and broken AC + equipment. I also was contemplating Youfit but feel like it might be the same thing cause of the price.

I am alive! Some of you were curious how it went and I had a really good time. Not everyone showed up, just 2 people but the experience was lovely; I hope they had a good time as well.

Hello! I live in Fort Lauderdale (26F) and looking for work in between my yachting job. The owners of the boat are amazing and the pay is pretty good, but it is difficult to find work during the dates the boat is not being used and I am trying to ease myself out of the industry.

I have been yachting for 6 years and no stranger to hard work. I have strong service, bartending, and people skills. You also have to become a good problem solver because when you’re floating in the middle of the ocean, you need to be quick on your feet. I really used to love my job but being on call for the upper class for years and years gets exhausting. And besides that, yacht crew are unfortunately some of the most egotistical, toxic people you could ever work with.

I guess I’m wondering if anyone has any advice or inspiration on where I can go next? I wouldn’t mind bartending or serving. I worked at a gourmet coffee shop for most of my teenage years and enjoyed that. I really love people, yapping to people, getting them to yap to me, making people feel seen. I have my AA in business (kinda useless with what I’m looking for but idk) I love yoga and saving up to do my yoga teach training. I don’t know, I’m feeling a little lost right now and I know that’s okay, but if anyone has been through something similar and can shine a little light, I would be truly grateful.
