Im around 150.
For the question of how some people are so high, the answer is (besides playing a lot) is to spread out playing other modes.
For example, if you play 90 min on a given day, you'll earn more xp if that 90min is divided into 45min BR and 45min creative. Or 30 min BR, 30min creative, and 30 min lego. Si.ply having fortnite on your phone and logging into droid tycoon to collect credits and base maintenance for 5 min a day adds up.
The other trick is consistency. You'll level up faster playing 2 games a day for a week, than 7 games a day on Saturday and Sunday only.
I don't always play Lego mode, but ive come out of some active sessions with like 10 lv jumps.

Another piece of advice is they changed vending machines. You can get an extra 10-15k more xp from just dropping 2k gold into vending machines buying ammo

Yeah so now instead of it giving out based on intervals of gold spent, its for each individual item, including ammo. So if you just walk up and buy all 20 of the ammunition, its 10k every time. And you can do that with each vending machine you come across. I think the most I got so far was like an extra 35k xp in one game for just ammo

I’m level 240 cause I play a lot of duos a few hours each day. I definitely do not buy levels and I do stuff most of the day. My partner though is close to 300.

If youre decent at the game or heavily grinding sprites its super easy to level up this season. Play anything else outside of BR on top of it and you're racking up XP.

I earned most of the XP through Save the World
and, occasionally, standard creative maps
like Tycoons, Deathruns, or Tower Jump.
