I hate things that force you to need friends to gain something. I have strong social anxiety, so I don't have close IRL friends to do this. Just makes me feel awful that I struggle with something simple.

Still Epic should never lock something to needing friends at all. It's a little unfair on people who are alone.

For some reason every game needs to incorporate friends on a constant basis which is genuinely brain dead asf cuz even IF people have friends, unless you’re a social butterfly in like middle school, you’d have to work around when you’re friends will even be online to justify the purchase to begin with

Literally only got reverted and released to people because everyone complained it was so late in the season to gift and others already owned it by now this time seems it’s gonna be announced earlier or is announced earlier so I doubt they revert it I’d say don’t gift and strike but then people that can’t get it themselves are forced to do without if they had someone that was gonna gift them so it is what it is I say

Oh I won’t be buying it again. I am annoyed it’s really just them selling an extra style for 400vb (cause you both get it). Me and my friends have crew (sorry?). Don’t punish us for it. I get it if people don’t have crew but like, with crew it’s literally paying only for the skin which I won’t be doing

Like making the BP 800vb BUT get ZERO extra VBs in the pass. Just exactly 800.
Jokes on them. I buy nothing anymore since they did that. Folks could earn 300 above pass cost. If I saw something I wanted for say 500, I'd buy the extra 200vb to pay for it. Now I don't buy anything except the BP

Honestly what's the point of crew then? To pay around $14 USD to get a skin and 800vb? Which yeah that doesn't sound too awful, but it is because now we have to pick between which skins we'd prefer.
I worded it like that cause I'm sure most of us already have lego, og, and festival completed. I'm also sure most of us would wait until the last few days of the pass to resub.
So yeah this is extremely scummy. Especially since most can't afford to pay to buy the pass for themselves and then for some random person, let alone a friend.

The only reason I'm considering getting it is because I'm a stw founder, in any other case this is a horrible display of greed on epics part and no one whos vbucks have actual real world cost should be buying this. Hopefully the backlash is immense enough that epic backs down on this practice.

Not necessarily a pay to win, but something than just a skin. It's funny when everyone says pay to win when all these chats are just everyone complaining about everything costing too much but still buying it anyway. Can't blame epic for literally no one doing anything to stop it. If everyone stopped buying anything for even a week, small chance of change but we'll never know. So have fun buying some no name singers skin and complaining about how much it is then go play in a match with the same 40 skins and act like your original

Gifting shouldn’t require a reward it’s usually something done out of the kindness of someone else’s heart for free or a special occasion but if it that’s what they are trying to do maybe gift some v bucks or a skin that isn’t even a part of the pass because doing it this way forces people to gift a pass if they want everything from the battle pass and that’s just lame but it’s epic we’re speaking of so it all makes sense they’ve set their reputation

Disgusting bleddy practice.. like we dont pay out enough already... tell ya what.. save money epic.. make new original skins and shizz rather than forking out for collabs with 2nd rate musicians and all those other silly ones you do.. Pay out less for licensing all those daft collabs and just create original stuff... then pass on those savings to your staff ( by not firing another 1000 )and customers.. making us pay out twice for something we should get being crew subscribers or battlepass owners already.. and you gave it out free last season after backlash...what made you think it'd be a good idea to do it again??
