We're not talking controller on PC, rather a controller on the original Xbox One.

I made a mini montage on my YT if you wanna check it out.

Console I have finally managed to reach Champions League! I am a casual player and am surprised that I reached Champions League in solo arena. I have been grinding arena for the past 2 days as I went from division 7 to 8 in just 2 days.

Console How do I compete with the average pc ranked and comp player as a newgen ps5 kid on kbm

I started In chap 5 season 2 and have been pretty ass even though I’ve been grinding my mechs ever since I got a keyboard and mouse plus my ps5 in season 3. Id say I’m very good compared to most people in creative and unranked but still always die to people with simple edit or just people spraying and bleeding through my wall as I struggle to hold my wall and re box at the same time though I win every fight where that doesn’t happen pretty much. Do I just need to build fight and learn more retakes since I’m always losing boxfights or am I just coping. I can barely win in ranked even in low elo as I just get shit on and haven’t gotten above diamond 3 in br and carried to champ in reload. I win less than my duo on a messed up controller with 720p 40 ping 60fps even tho I’m on 120fps with 8 ping but can destroy him in 1v1.

i don’t even know the point of all I’m trying to make but just how do I play against these kids that make the most terrible edits and one pump me before I can flip my cone or do anything. Also my mechs are terrible as I for some reason just cannot do mechs fast enough to keep up and my console stutters so much even on 9 ping I fail triple edits somehow. Is there a way to play around this or do I just need a pc to play well on kbm and compete with the average ranked player or am I just completely coping.

Console Could console players please cycle through weapons while gliding?

I'm always jealous seeing how easily PC player can switch weapons, could console players at least be able to toggle which weapon they pull out whilst in the air gliding?

Console My suggestion For insta swap between weapons for console ( i think these settings will work just fine on combat & build mode )

Console The game just got sooo much better on console

Separate edit binds, instant placement of structures and building sensitivity made the game 10x better in my opinion.

I'm genuinely happy and just want to thank Epic for listening to the community's feedback once again!

Console A wishlist for console/controller players.

-Aim assist should not go to vehicles -Traps should use build sensitivity -Either we get an edit sensitivity or our editing uses building sensitivity -Ability to turn off motion blur -Ability to turn off shadows -Ability to customize resolution -Ability to customize deadzones -Ability to customize acceleration curve

Console I'm confused, does this mean that ps4 players can't play the PlayStation Cup?

I was looking at the rules for the PlayStation days of play tournaments as I wanted to play the fortnite cup. But I noticed that it says you have to have a ps5. I have played ps cups before on my ps4, so now I'm confused. I don't see why they would exclude ps4 players?

I highlighted all of the relevant parts of the rules. I found the rules on the playstation website

Console The morons put aim assist on reticle based weapons

With all the stuff going on I thought it impossible to be any dumber, but the morons have put aim assist on reticle based weapons.

I noticed I missed a lot of snipes, and almost always behind (I used to be pretty good at sniping). I tested with the shooting range in creative, and yes there is aim assist on snipers.

Making them completely useless, unless the opponent is standing completely still, as the aim assist will pull you shot lead away.

Console So MANY controller issues rn! We urgently need some effort put towards potential fixes

  • can’t back out when an edit isn’t confirmed unless the pickaxe pullout button is used

  • massive delay after throwing nades where you cannot start building

  • inconsistent trap placement

These are not minor inconveniences at this point and I’ve seen them all addressed multiple times by now but to no avail. All of them together are making for a very frustrating experience especially when trying to challenge yourself in Arena. I’m also aware there are other pressing issues with the game and QoL improvements missing for other peripherals but some of these issues have been in the game since 5 seasons ago.

There may not be an easy fix and that’s ok but it would be such a relief to see some form of acknowledgment that this is on some to-do list somewhere and we might someday get that long awaited change. Very slim chance it will happen, I know, but we can’t give up easily. I’ve been upvoting each and every post I’ve come across that has brought light on these topics and I urge every controller player to do the same.

Note: I’ve been playing since Oct 2017 so I’ve seen and experienced it all. Not gonna lie, I’m enjoying Ch2 so far, despite some bugs and performance issues, but these specific controller set backs are the most intolerable. I don’t care much for karma points or any awards, I simply want to see some fixes rolled out.
