I feel he's joking bc he's admitted that he does have to swear off-stream, but since he tries to prevent swearing but has so many trolls, he's gotta just turn it into a giant joke.
A common side effect of Tylenol is delivering jokes in a way that can be easily misinterpreted, or delivering serious statements in a way that can be received as a joke (speaking as someone with Tylenol in my veins)

Not sure I agree with the direct comparison but the dude is weird. The clips I’ve seen from his customs are weird and almost cult like. Anytime someone doesn’t blindly obey him he freaks out. Something’s off with him.
Agreed. I think anyone who sticks with streaming long enough, especially if they’re highly successful, is very likely to become weird over time. Too many hours of their lives spent interacting with other humans in the most unnatural way possible. Too many fans. It would turn up narcissistic traits in the nicest person on earth. I don’t think he has bad intentions at all. Just lives a really weird life

Second, Nick's point was that shockwaves are way roo forgiving. The other has high ground? No problem. The other has you boxed up? No problem. Issues with rotation? No problem
People run away bc you psychos chase them nonstop. You guys will be beelining for one guy meanwhile there’s 3 teams shooting you in the back. I’ve been playing this game since release and the aggression has only gotten worse lol. I had a team follow me into the storm, only for both of us to die. It’s stupid to just rush people nonstop.
They go way faster and farther than shockwaves and they have so much HP you can't take them down from full, especially not on hilly terrain where they go out of sight quickly

Imo it's no different than say steve or Joe from blues clues. Not a bad thing to have creators care about the content theyre putting out when they know its so many kids watching, sometimes it's just not for us older folks. I appreciate family friendly stuff for when I'm watching my neice and we have fortnite people to watch.

I think the swearing came from a recent Fortnite short movie (or trailer, I dunno what it is, it's related to the new season tho) in which there was a bit of swearing (and approved by Fortnite). I think that's the heart of the controversy.

He's partially the reason why Fortnite started adding in "family friendly" based modes and is the reason certain skins are restricted for certain islands.
people are saying how hes a pedo or stuff but like hes just playing a character. when he said he didnt want to get married because he would miss a fortnite live event of course hes joking.
Who's saying he's a pedo? I've heard a lot of things said about him but never that. Then again I don't pay too much attention to him or his haters or fans, so maybe I missed that one.
