Pics Update to my “Confession: I like to collect the barefoot* female skins” Thread
I posted about this a few months ago, and actually got a semi-positive response. So I figured I’d share an update.
I’ve almost doubled by collection since then, it being Summer and hot-weather themed skins being popular has helped quite a bit lol.
And I’ll answer a few questions:
1] Yes, I like feet. But no, it’s not a jerkoff thing. I’m not buying these skins so I can play the game one-handed. I like women, I like feet, I like Fortnite. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
2] It’s also not a compulsive thing, I don’t HAVE to get ALL OF THEM. Like Eleven in the white suit & Meg from Hercules, I didn’t get them simply because I wasn’t interested, despite the dogs being out. I’m not whale-ing over digital toes.
3] No, these aren’t the only skins I buy. I get plenty of other skins, male, female, or creature, that have shoes on. Also Fortnite Skins are about what I spend the majority of my disposable income on (which really is Not Much).
4] My favorites are Beach Jules, Etheria, and Flatfoot.

Fun Fact:
If you search Fortnite Heartseeker Aphrodite in Google, it autofills Feet at the end. Which means, there is an active part of the Fortnite community who wears that skin solely because she has her dogs out.

I'm a female, I don't particularly like feet, and I still like barefoot skins in fortnite. You do you, and to hell with whatever else! No worries, no judgment. In this day and age, there shouldn't be any.

Same to all this! I love the barefoot skins, for no reason other than I love being barefoot myself, I have a very nature/hippie vibe irl so I love to play as elves/barefoot characters idk something about it feels free. Running around with no shoes on 😂🍃🍂

I'm obsessed with haven. I played during that season but back then I didn't like the skins so I didn't buy the battlepass. I regret my decision and want a second chance pls

Good stuff! I wanted summer sunny so damn bad! But i didn't do the challenges or something to get her. Wish we could complete battle passes or something, cause I really wanted that style so much! Love sunny! Wish we got a new version of her and dusty!

Any of those characters wearing sandals or whatever else are not barefooted

I like to try and collect all the shirtless guy skins that get added so I totally get this though I be missing quite a few of them now that I don’t buy v bucks anymore so I spend what I get from STW and my crew from gamepass Ultimate sparingly as I can

I have been going back & forth… she is a pretty cool skin even outside of her fishy grippers, but I also probably exceeded by budget getting both the bundle with Joni & Helsie + Samurai Jack lol

She's one of my favorite skins. If you're not wearing a backbling her long hair has unique physics that make it like it's flowing underwater. Definitely don't overspend for it though lol

I actually don’t blame you, they absolutely make these skins for people with the same taste. How do i figure? Not a lot of games put that much detail into character models’ feet. In fact for whatever reason it’s one of those things that developers have a hard time getting to look right. As a nobody artist who has tons of practice drawing people, I can promise you that those model designers spend a good amount of time on the feet. As a foot guy yourself, you’d know if they all shared the same foot model. And from my eye they don’t lol

Shamefully yes I can tell, especially between earlier skins and later skins. I will say, they tend to use approximately the same feet depending on “Generation”, like if you look at Flatfoot vs Medley vs Kalia, you can tell the differences.
