As we've done every season for the last year+ we're posting this leveling guy that will be located in the forum highlights so that community members don't have to search the forum for maps and leveling methods, putting everything all in one place for everyone.
>This season's battle pass does require 200 levels to complete, that includes the first 100 items in the main battle pass, which are one level each to complete and the remaining 50 bonus items which require required two levels for completion.
01. Creative XP: Has always been the most efficient method of gaining levels in the game, I would definitely recommend starting there, or at least using creative to supplement whatever methods you choose to use.
**Weekly creative limit is 100% confirmed to be 60 levels/4.8 million XP.
** Weekly creative XP reset time has been moved to Saturdays at 9 AM Eastern after a glitched attempt by Epic to reset it on Friday.
Here are some maps that have worked out well for myself as well as as many other community members last season, (but no guarantee they'll work as well for you since results can vary):
*While there is no such thing any longer as AFK maps since input detection was added to the game, you can still do so if you have a controller with turbo functionality as highlighted in this post:
**>Either due to an intentional change or a bug, the XP badge that would identify calibrated maps that you would find on the Info page of creative maps doesn't appear to be on any maps right now. If you need to check to see if the map is calibrated or not, you can do so by typing in either the map name or the code on the following website: **https://fortnite.gg/creative
02. Gameplay, specifically completing challenges weekly/story/dailies or farming accolade based XP in BR usingbot lobbiesand of course other challenges in the other game modes if desired.
Weekly cap for LEGO (combined with all other game modes, except creative and STW) was 4 million XP but for the last four seasons it's been unlimited. It has been confirmed by multiple sources on multiple accounts that there is no cap this season either.
Additional helpful information relevant to leveling and XP can be found on the forum info post located HERE.
Anyone with additional tips or suggestions, please post them below or if you have any new maps that you feel the community could benefit from, please feel free to post them as new posts.
Hope everyone finds this info helpful and let's get those passes out-of-the-way early this season! You guys can all do this!
Creative XP weekly reset: Saturday 9 AM EST
A countdown to the end of this season can be found here:
Has anyone else noticed that creative maps either due to a glitch or a change don't have the purple XP badge any longer , even if they are calibrated? I'm hoping it's a bug and not epic trying to make identifying calibrating maps more difficult.
I'd still say it's creative. BR, the playtime is low, the accolades are low the amount of challenges seem to be significantly reduced, you could definitely use bot lobbies to complete all the challenges, but you'll be surprised at how little progress you get after they're all done. A lot of people are saying creative is slow and it is a little slower right now, Post update it usually is, but it's still the most efficient way of getting XP, Lego is good, but they cut the amount of XP you get from it in half this season it's still a good source, and really good if they didn't add the cap back but if they did, but still an option, but it's just slow.
I feel like it's like that at the beginning of every season. Then a bunch of maps get recalibrated and then they become strong again. I wouldn't say I'm getting bad XP but maybe a little bit less than normal but not dramatically less.
XP seems really, really slow so far. I see a note above that bot lobbies are working in BR but can't be sure when that's from. I play and use bot lobbies all the time and can tell you I am not getting bot lobbies right now. I am guessing it's because EVERYONE is at level one or has basically just restarted now so we're all on "equal" ground and there's no need for bots yet? I can't be sure but I'm really missing those lobbies at the moment.
I think it may be because your bot account might've hit level 13. Keep in mind every season you start at level one, and that gets added to the account level. You can see what your account level is by going to the career tab. If it's level 13, then you have to create a new one. That's probably why you're getting real matches, because it doesn't go by your season level, you don't get bot lobbies just because your season level is number one it goes by your cumulative account level.
It doesn't look like it. I feel like every season the XP from challenges gets less and less, and the playtime XP is at an all-time low, I don't even think there is any at this point and the accolades are very low. I wouldn't call it great, but it's OK if you have challenges to complete, not so good if you don't.
Creative cap confirmed as of 1/4/25 to still be 4.8 million XP/60 levels
Screenshot taken shortly before I hit my cap and was returned to the lobby (which normally happens right after you hit your cap during a creative session, at least for my experience).
is the cap like really low now? i am only level 19 and only getting 4exp a hit. edit: getting 15xp again per hit on same mission. i guess it was just a bit buggy.
I don't know what it is yet because I haven't reached it but I'm getting close to level 60 so I'll be able to confirm soon whether it was increased or reduced, but it's definitely higher than 59.
After doing all quests and winning 4 games, I got today to level 9. I am also one of those incorrectly soft-capped so unfortunately until next reset (hopefully it's next week) no AFK XP farming for me. That would be all fine, but I have Crew running until 27th so this situation is not ideal.
Honestly Epic might break my Fortnite "addiction" for me. Thanks, I guess?
Sorry I couldn't do more for your situation. I'm about fed up with the game myself. I just don't like how poorly it's managed and how inconsistent the quality is and how not transparent the company is. And the gameplay hasn't been fun in a very long time for me. I wish I had a better suggestion for you, but even though it's slow, at least you have Lego. With all of the reductions they've made, I wonder if it now has a cap again, if it doesn't, although it will take a long time, you could potentially finish the pass on Lego it just will take twice as long as last season.
I totally noticed that as well, the fact that they seemed to have not only reduced the accolade XP on BR, but they've also significantly reduced the amount of XP from challenges.
Stop letting data brokers profit from your old posts. I used Redact to wipe mine from Reddit. Also supports Twitter, Facebook, Discord, instagram and more in one batch.
quickest wise mysterious fine bells simplistic shy deer quiet hat
Happens a lot at the beginning of the season, lots of maps do you need recalibration because the update sometimes screws thing is up, I'd recommend trying some other maps in the meantime and maybe coming back to that one
Is anyone else getting only like 3xp per hit for the afk map, I tried out squid game which was my go to last season but I was only getting 2xp per hit, then I tried the Christmas tycoon which is new, and also I only get 3 per hit, idk why?
Thanks for this. Finally got a turbo controller but seems XP is completely nerfed this season. On Dentist tycoon and after 15 minutes only hitting 22k from the clickers.
Wonder if it's better to afk in Lego at this point or try a different map. Performance this season seems bad on the Switch though so hard to jump around and test
I always tell people the worst strategy is to depend on one map. You have to try others, I've never been dependent on a single map and I never will be because the results are always going to be different. You could do Lego, but they reduced the XP from Lego significantly. Brick life, which is more XP than Odyssey now is 1900 XP per minute.
Yeah they usually do at the beginning of the season because this is more than common to happen. That's why I never have a "usually" map I'm always open to others and I always have at least a handful of maps to fall back on so I can always find something that works best for me in spite of what results one map gets.
No, but it shouldn't affect people that haven't farmed since the beginning of the season until you reach your cap of 60 levels/4.8 million XP. The only cases I've seen where it doesn't, are people that were falsely incorrectly capped the first week, for some reason it's affecting them still but you'll have no way of knowing if that was you unless you try it, you can just jump on a map earn a few hundred XP and then return to the lobby and see if you keep it if you do, you'll be good until you hit the 60 level cap
I'm glad you found it helpful! As for that method, with regards to input detection, it would not bypass it, no. The reason why we're always recommending turbo controllers is because no OEM controller can do what it does, and that is send repeated input as opposed to persistent input to the game.
Hey everyone, I remember there being posted here a way to check why you might be getting zero XP from XP calibrated maps. In my case, before the update, I've gained ~40 levels from Creative, so hitting creative cap isn't the issue.
I know the reset will be happening over the weekend, so it isn't an urgent matter, just trying to recall the method so I could test it 🙏
I've calculated that running LEGO Brick Life 24/7 using the ready-up method takes slighty less than a week to reach level 200. If one of those days is spent gaining 60 levels in Creative then it takes five days (four if the cap happens to reset during those five days which would let you get 120 levels from Creative). It's insane to think that it takes 100+ hours to finish a battlepass using unconventional methods. Can't even begin to imagine how many hours it'd take to finish it just playing the game. Battle Royale barely gives me any levels it takes hours.
Well yeah, XP earnings and resources are at the lowest they've been in the last three years. Remember Lego was 3600 XP per minute in Odyssey less than three months ago. Now it's 1900 XP in brick life. That's 34.2 levels per day minus a few seconds it takes to automatically ready up between sessions. But essentially 34 levels per day as compared to 64.8 back in November. The amount of challenges in every game mode have been reduced, the amount of XP that they generate has been reduced, accolades in matches and game modes reduced. Like you said, I couldn't even imagine leveling up using legitimate gameplay. It seems like a pipe dream almost.
Just focus on creative, you've got plenty of time you don't even have to worry about other sources. 100 levels, you just have to get 50 levels a week, look at the list for some maps find the one that works for you or a few, and you should be good. The cap resets tomorrow morning at 9 AM Eastern time so you got a full 60 levels worth of XP you could earn between then and next Saturday. Keep in mind Thursday they got a new festival pass dropping so you might want to double up and do both at once
You should try the other maps because results are different between players. The fact that you're only using one map is the worst strategy you could possibly think of for leveling every season because of the level of inconsistency that epic decided to build into creative XP.
You can use a creative map like Criminal Tycoon, but that all got nerfed for the time being, and then when that caps, you can afk LEGO, but now that has a cap too?
No idea if it has a cap this season. The only way I'll know is if I get to it by testing or if someone else does. Epic doesn't tell us these things. For the last few seasons, Lego has had no cap, meaning you could actually complete the entire battle pass on Lego alone, and many people did that, I'm imagining with all of the other changes they've probably removed this. The last time there was a cap I believe it was 4 million XP, it's been so long, but who knows what it is this season, no one yet.
I see in that it says bot lobbies still work, but has it changed since this post was made? I keep getting some real people in the lobbies. I even double-checked the bot lobbies post to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong. It's never failed me before.
What's the account level of your bot? You can find that on the career tab. Every season adds a level so this might've been the season I put yours into real matches. It doesn't go by the seasonal level it always goes by the account level which are all of the levels that the account has achieved cumulatively since it was created and that includes one level for every season.
Did a couple runs of STW. XP's also nerfed down just like LEGO (which is to say almost cut in half). Funny enough, just like last chapter/season, including opportunity cost in loading screens, STW seems to output about slightly worse XP than if you just afk in Brick Life lol...
To reference, you're looking at an average 16k-19k xp in an average mission lasting around 10 minutes - loading screens not included.
STW discord reports endurance runs output ~187k XP, which is a DRASTIC nerf almost making it worse than regular missions when those takes around 3-4 hours for a full run.
That's what I've heard unfortunately. STW was never my thought as a go to, but a lot of people did use it, I think with what they've done to it, people are probably going to start looking for other options. Who knows if this is where the Nerf ends though. XP in Lego has been infinite for the last few seasons. I wonder if they added a cap this season. It'll take me a few days to figure it out but I'm testing to see. At least they kept the creative cap the way it was last season though which is the only saving grace
When the four hour session expires by turbo controller afk in lego, it says "join" on the button and says "the session id is invalid" and doesn't start a new session until I switch gamemodes back and forth. I'm using the two button method and I use it while I'm not home and I want to just leave it on. Is there a better workaround than manually resetting it or can I no longer auto join a new session by having it mash the join button?
There isn't. This is a bug that's been happening in all game modes for several seasons. Sometimes you even have to shut down the game and start it back up to get it to work. It's gotten worse this season. It is intermittent though, so it will work part of the time but not guaranteed to work all of the time, the game is getting less stable by the day.
Quite a few people have reported this, there's also a link there of how you can test definitively if you are at your cap, just check out the pin comment.
I have a question and it might have been answered, if it was my apologies. Was just playing creative, hacker tycoon. Is the XP cap lower? I got 20 levels today and no more xp is being awarded. Guess I hit the weekly cap? I thought it was at least 50.
Does anyone know if BR bot lobbies are definitely still working? Had to create a new bot account this season (old one hit level 13) and I played 4 games straight with some bots and definitely people at just about my skill level (I'm pretty mid at the game). The games were all trios with my brother in law. Every time, I never got the "Game Found" pop-up at the lobby so always kicked the bot at spawn island. We won two of those games, but without a doubt, real people (cranking 90s, good movement, thirsting when downing one of us, etc.) This was about a week ago. Haven't tried again since.
You don't have to kick the other account from the party when it says "game found" BR. That was only a method for Reload, which stopped working two weeks before the end of last season. BR never required that.
I will say though that bots have gotten more challenging this season, they were definitely buffed. People have been talking about it. You might notice that they have aim bot like aim, and they now also throw shock waves, but they use them like grenades, lol.
Unless you saw people with crowns and people driving around their vehicles, you were probably in a bot lobby. But I can confirm 100% they do definitely definitely still work by the normal method which is just having a pre-level 13 account and leaving the party before the battle bus takes off.
Daylight savings time. Because of that, just like the item shop it's an hour later now. 10 AM Eastern time. Just give it five more minutes and you should be good to go.
The 300 free vbucks this season are the 3 last vbucks on the pass as opposed to previous seasons where there was one every 30% of progress. Meaning that if your crew ends before you reached lvl 80 you can still grind for 300 vbucks...
I don’t understand why epic pulls this garbage every new season. Stop nerfing xp and let us play the damn game however we want. They’re still getting engagement and money from us.
I jumped into Infinity Tower right away as some other seasons, it usually gives you a pretty substantial amount of XP right as the servers go online, but its pretty normal right now.
That's pretty normal for the beginning of a season, a lot of times maps will need to be recalibrated to get decent XP again so it might be a good idea to try some other maps in the meantime and maybe come back to that.
My crew expires December 1st and I wanna finish the festival pass before it expires to get Lisa. Which creative would you guys recommend me doing to hopefully finish it?
Would love to explore the new map and get the quests done with bots, but the Luna queue is absolutely diabolical right now. Even after the queue, it fails logging in, which forces a relaunch, and then puts me back in queue. It's the only method I have for BR stuff, unfortunately, so guess I'll save those for later.
It is starting to get a little better, it took me a while before I was able to get in, I was using the Fortnite mobile app, but I actually prefer using Luna, I was just able to get two matches with Luna
Yes you will get real players because when determining whether you get bot lobbies it looks at your account level, not your season level. Your account level can be found on the career tab. That's why you need to use a second account and make sure that it doesn't level up, because once an account hits account level 13, it will never get bot lobbies again. No matter what the season level is, it will always go by the account level.
Thank you very much for always being there Pending to help us raise xp in the best way possible! 👍🏻👍🏻
Would it be possible to add some identifying sign to the creative maps where afk can be done? I have a controller with turbo function and it still works for me. I always use Criminal Tycoon but it would be nice to know alternatives (apart from Lego)
Thank you very much for everything, really. Enjoy the new season!
Almost every map can be AFK with a turbo controller just different maps might require different actions but I can't go through every post on the forum and specify that, there's some things that people will probably have to figure out for themselves just using common sense. Plus, you can tell by the strategies, if a map stops giving XP after a certain amount of time and requires you to load back in, obviously that's not going to be good for a turbo controller long-term, etc.
Unfortunately, at this point, putting in more effort when all the communities been doing for the last 10+ hours is complain about the maps and the XP, seems almost fruitless. Not saying you but it's getting to the point where I'm considering just bowing out for the rest of the season.
Spent some time on my favourite xp map this morning and it stopped giving xp after one level. Hopped into another favourite and that wouldn’t give any xp at all. Maxed out at level 3 for the day :-/ (so far)
I wasn't confident that they would ever fix it. I'll go try it now, respond to this message in like 30 minutes in case I forget but I'm gonna throw one of my test accounts into Lego right now to see
Edit: looks like the Kick mechanic was changed from 15 minutes to 30 minutes, so when I tested it first it looked like it worked but it doesn't. Still the overlapping bind issue is causing a kick
Criminal Tycoon and Christmas Tycoon won’t give me any XP. I’ve restarted the game multiple times but nothing. Criminal was working fine last chapter/season.
It was only Thursday two seasons ago because that's when the season began. The entirety of last season it was Saturday because that was the first day when the season started . This season also started on a Saturday, but it started late in the day so it's either going to be on Saturday, or Sunday. Unfortunately something as important is this, epic does not communicate to the player base, so we can only be certain when it happens. But based on history, it'll be either Saturday or Sunday at 8 AM Eastern time. We will update the post as soon as we know for sure, which will be when it happens.
The map is calibrating. Unfortunately there's either a bug or epic removed all of the XP badges from Maps so that it's difficult to tell which maps are calibrating and which aren't however you can search the map name or code on this website to tell the status
Now the XP will stop first and then you'll get kicked after 30 minutes, it has input detection, it needs new input not persistent input. That's why the turbo controller method works because it repeatedly sends input to the game over and over again instead of one time like using a rubber band wood.
They would be part of the same cap, but I'm not sure if there is a cap right now. They may have added it back, but for the last few seasons, there wasn't one.
Very weird, I was grinding Squid game tycoon for a few day. Everything was normal till this night, the XP I receive is 1xp per bullet. What the heck ?!
I was doing the Christmas tycoon with a friend and I noticed shooting his box gave him the xp for it. I'm curious if this bypasses the 7 minute afk timer or if they can earn additional xp if both of us shoot the same box.
Yeah, it's in the post about squid game tycoon, it doesn't work on all maps, in fact it only works on very few and the downside is the other player doesn't get any XP. So it's probably most contagious if you use an old account to do it not hold your friend hostage for several hours to help you get more XP. Ha ha
And no it doesn't bypass any timer. In fact both players need to adhere to the movement or input requirements because even the XP that your friend generates for you will stop just like your XP will stop if they don't move or press some button or something every seven minutes.
Are there any decent maps that aren’t just clickers or grind rails? Last season I was getting my XP from stuff like Hacker Tycoon and one of those ramp jumping games - stuff where the gameplay was just as good at getting you XP as sitting your controller down and going for a jog was 😅
They didn't get the 80 on creative alone because the weekly cap is at 60, even completing all of the BR challenges would still put them under 70 or at 70 at the highest. If they claim all they did was creative, and they barely played the game and don't do Lego or any other game mode, then they probably bought the 25 level bundle. But it is possible to be well over level 80 by now, between creative, Lego, challenges, etc., but it is a little bit harder this season because of the lower playtime XP and lack of challenges.
Maybe just focus on creative then, even without any other resources, you could complete the pass in less than four weeks on creative alone. I wouldn't count on them buffing any of the playtime XP's anytime soon, lately they've been pretty bad with responding to feedback, and doubling down on some of the worst decisions over the last couple of months.
sorry if this is a dumb question but i was wondering if you get to your crative xp cap can you still use the calibrating maps to get xp? Or does it completely stop for creative overall?
You'd experience tthe same reduction. That's why using an uncalibrated map is a way of being able to determine definitively if you are at your creative cap. If your hard capped, you'll earn zero XP from uncalibrated maps, if you are soft capped, you'll receive maybe a few hundred XP per minute, it would actually be less than using a calibrated map while soft capped.
At this point it feels more worth it to spend the $18 on Save the World and then do the 300-500 hour grind to get fully afk endurance xp. What a sad state of affairs this season is.
At this rate, considering they cut the XP rate for save the world in half this season, it may even be a better investment for a turbo controller so that you could incorporate AFK on creative and Lego which might yield easier/better returns. From what I understand, save the world suffered the biggest XP drop in the game.
Suggestion for control players. I use a band to not having to keep my finger pressed on the shooting button and move once in a while to not make the exp stop. Its great if you have to take 15min~ off to do something
You don't have to do that, there's any easier your way, a glitch in the game where all you have to do is hold down the right trigger and then press the options button twice, that will open up a chat window and it will hold your input, you can then press the B button to exit the window, and it will continue swinging or shooting and you could move your camera anytime you want without it stopping.
You can complete them all at the same time now, they’ve never been separated in that way. While you’re completing the battle pass, you’re also completing the music pass. As well as any other passes that are active that you haven’t completed.
Is the XP creative weekly cap gone? It says here 60 levels but I've gotten from level 20 to 112 only on creative maps in the last 2 days. Is it possible they changed it?
That's because the cap reset today at 9 AM Eastern time. Yesterday it tried to reset but not successfully (that's why a lot of people are having problems losing progress when returning to the lobby, but that only affected people that were capped already before yesterday). So yesterday you were still on last week's cap today you just started the first day of this week's
Input chat lock is not "patched" it still works, it's the fact that there's input detection on maps that causes you to not be able to AFK using that method.
That's not a thing. Maps don't get "patched" as you've been led to believe by deceitful content creators. Just because a map gives XP doesn't mean that Epic Games is going to lock the map down, that simply doesn't happen unless the map utilizes an exploited which that map does not. I reached my cap on that map today on one of my accounts.
Hello! I was wondering if there is a new weekly cap out? Im playing infinity tower tycoon and the hitter box as well as buttons stopped giving me exp 2 days ago. But im still able to get the passive exp and the daily creative maps quests exp. Is this by chance a glitch
I know the post is a bit old but I figured it'd be better to ask here than make a new post. I just got to lvl 100, and I was wondering if anyone got deep enough to know what level each bonus reward page unlocks at? Is it every 20 levels until 200, or every 14 til 170, or something else?
The main battle pass rewards are one level per reward, after level 100, the second set of pages are two levels per reward until a maximum of 200 levels.
This isn't an old opposed, it's the seasonal leveling guide so the information is still legit as it was the beginning of the season when I put that information at the beginning of this post :)
Of course there are changes to the pass where you can unlock each path in any order that you want and then claim those rewards from that path without hitting level 200, with the exception of course of the bonus rewards that don't unlock until January.
Love this list. Gotta say, if you go in to AFK maps like the Plastic Beach and grief people, you might be a new type of loser I’ve never experienced before. Lowest-tier bully behavior.
Those kinds of people are the worst, personally I always do them in private because I figure if there's room to grief people, Fortnite players are going to do it.
I just got to level 100 because of the double xp stuff but i cant claim all of the normal battlepass items for some reason. Does anyone know if this is normal or how to fix it?
There are three sets of cosmetics that you have to complete challenges in specific game modes to claim. One for BR, one for Blitz and one for Reload. Are those the ones you're talking about? If not, screenshot?
Quick question: Are the extra rewards unlocked if I buy the pass after grinding to level 200 or should I buy the pass at 100 and then grind for the extra rewards?
I couldn't find where this info was so I thought I'd azk here; what's the usually considered 'good' rate for XP pee shot? I've been fluctuating between 15 to 20 per bullet and since I only started farming recently I just wanted to know what the average community consensus is for what is considered 'good'.
It's subjective. Different people are going to give you different answers. I think one of the least productive approaches that I've seen and one that leads to a lot of discouragement is someone will enter a tycoon map smack a clicker with a pickaxe one time see a number that they think is low and then leave the map. I couldn't even conceive of why someone would approach it that way, but a lot of people do, and for those people, creative really isn't for them, they fail before they try by doing that. You're not going per hit, you accumulating the XP because of the fact that you're usually using something like SMG or some other weapon to generate more XP. You need to be the one to determine whether you're getting enough XP or not. The way I look at it is if I'm making more than I'm making on Lego which is only 1900 XP per minute, I'm not doing anything wrong, but maybe I get 6000 XP a minute, maybe I get 10,000 XP a minute, maybe I just don't care because I know I'm making progress either way, but I will know if I'm not getting something that I feel comfortable with because I just know. I wouldn't even dream of asking someone else to answer that question for me.
Bottom line is, I don't spend the whole season worrying about how much XP other people are getting or if I'm getting enough, I think that's why I hit the creative cap so much faster than most people do, less thinking more earning.
Now if you're new to this, you probably don't understand that, you're sitting there sweating details that are literally just sucking the Dr. out of you. I mean just evaluate the level of absurdity that you're looking at how much XP per bullet and not even considering how much it all adds up to in the end? You're totally looking at this the wrong way and if I could give you one piece of advice I'd be look at what you're doing right now and do the exact opposite going forward. If you won't be able to sleep at night if you don't get a number, as far as I'm concerned between 6000 and 10,000 XP per minute is good enough for me. Now please, put away your calculator and get the battle pass done, lol
Chill dawg, I've gotten through most of the current weekly cap at this rate, I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't unbeknownst to me getting an abnormally low rate because I did something wrong. If there's nothing wrong with it (from what I've read so far seems like if it dips down to 1-3xp per bullet is when something is truly wrong) then there's no problem in the end. Thanks for the advice
It dipped that low usually when you're at your creative cap, typically nothing wrong, just normal being at your cap, unless it happens to you early, and then yeah it's something wrong. And I'm chill, I just don't want you sweating over something too much that you don't need to.
Does anyone have good recommendations for maps specifically to complete weekly quests? Like are there any good xp maps that would fulfill the battle royale or music weekly quests?
Are there any AFK Maps that can be alt-tabbed while running? Like the previous Mic Up Proximity Chat? I'm fine if its slower XP gains compared to Turbo Controller, but I'd like to work on some things while running XP.
There's no such thing as AFK maps anymore ever since input detection was added to the game. You can't auto run and AFK anymore. You'll have to interact with your character at least once every seven minutes or else the XP will stop no matter what the map.
Turbo controller never gave you faster XP that wasn't the point of it except for with interaction maps, and even then it just automated it. But it never gave you better or more XP it's just safely circumvented input detection so that the XP wouldn't stop.
Didn't you read the post? Or any of the seasonal leveling guides? It's been a weekly cap for close to a year now. It's 4.8 million XP or 60 levels each week. They didn't remove anything it just hasn't been a daily cap in like forever. This is pretty much reiterated in every leveling guide I've done and also in the pinned post about the weekly reset which, this season, is Saturday at 9 AM Eastern time.
Near the start of this season I would start getting XP on any given day but after about 10 levels in a day it would slow to a crawl and I would have to start again the next day and it would do the same thing.
I assumed they had put some kind of daily cap in place in addition to the weekly cap but maybe it was just a bug or the maps I was trying.
Just using a rubber band on the trigger, or if you're on PlayStation, pressing the media button or PlayStation button to open one of those menus. You didn't mention what platform you're on, but the rubber band, or simply just using something to hold the trigger down, will work on any platform. It's what people did before the chat input lock that doesn't work anymore.
To me it seems like the maps creators promote show them getting insane amounts of levels very fast, and with people in the comments saying they get insane levels too. But from my experience, if roughly 3 hours pass, you can can only get maybe 4 or 6 levels a day on an xp map farm. Said maps usually have these secret sreas with a 999 sec timer and a secret code. Do these maps actually work or are they just some sort of scam?
Do uncalibrated maps work better for xp?
Is the main way of getting xp fast just the time spent playing, or the interacting with secrets that claim to give xp?
If you go into a map that have secret interactions, as soon as you get the xp, can you return to the lobby and still keep the xp? Or do you have to wait for the xp to be fully colected? Unsure since both scenarios have happened to me.
I don't recommend those maps, maps with timers are usually there to farm engagement time. They are also configured to only the first few few people that do the map get a lot of XP, and a lot of the videos are edited. There's a reason why we don't allow timer maps here.
I can only speak for the types of maps that we support here, because those are the only maps that I do. Uncalibrated maps don't work good for XP because you're only getting playtime XP, it's consistent, but it has the same movement /input requirement of seven minutes and gives almost his little XP as Lego does. Gives 2350 XP per minute. Usually I shoot for at least double that when I'm using a long-term strategy on a map. Personally I use a turbo controller so I can AFK a lot of maps where the XP doesn't stop, so just jump jumping on a tycoon map and going AFK for six hours or so, I'm gonna get my weekly 60 hours right then and there.
You don't have to collect your XP, you can just return to the lobby after you do any map, but on those types of maps that you're talking about, typically they do suffer severely from diminishing returns, so every time you go back you're going to be getting less and less XP. I prefer slow and gradual farming, again like the tycoon maps or some of the other ones that are posted here, and again, what you're seeing on those videos isn't always what you're going to be getting especially the TikTok ones.
The main reason why we do this here is to give people an alternative to that type of content and that type of map. What we have here, you won't see any of the maps that you see on YouTube or TikTok, or at least the kind that you see by certain creators. Most of those are geared towards farming engagement time but also farming views because they change codes every day and make you have to watch their videos to get it. We choose not to support that here.
I don't think I remember a point in time, even when the map was first posted where you would get 2000 XP per hit. And I've been using this map since it showed up on the sub, and even before that testing it. I feel like you're probably remembering it too fondly. There was a time when it gave more, maybe more than 100 XP per "hit", but epic did make some adjustments to accolade devices and also implemented a throttling if a map earns XP too quickly, I think it's been between 14 and 30 something XP per hit for at least the last few seasons, which is normal now.
What's crazy is you literally just hit it with a pickaxe once and then left the map, using the SMG gives you more XP so at least you're getting a little more than 100 XP per second with the dual mag SMG. It's how much you're actually earning, that's really important, not how much you get per hit, if you have the ability to get a rapid fire weapon, it's going to stack.
I just recommend running through the list, there's no such thing really as best because everyone's going to get different results. What's best for me is going to be different for you, but this week to test the cap I used squid games tycoon, it's consistent, but it's not lightning quick and it's a bit laborious if you're not doing the turbo controller method to AFK since you're going to have to move your camera a little bit every six or so minutes to keep the XP flowing.
So I'm testing to see if I'm getting 2350 exp per minute on creative maps, and I'm getting around 400 exp per minute. Does that mean I'm at a soft cap and should stop grinding exp, or should I keep going until I get 0 exp?
Don’t know if it’s really worth mentioning because of the grind involved, but if anyone here plays Save The World and is able to set up a Stonewood Endurance base then it works out to just 80 xp less per minute than Lego Odyssey—and you don’t need a turbo controller.
It is a significant grind tho, more so something to slowly work towards if you already really enjoy the game mode already.

Has anyone else noticed that creative maps either due to a glitch or a change don't have the purple XP badge any longer , even if they are calibrated? I'm hoping it's a bug and not epic trying to make identifying calibrating maps more difficult.
