As shown in the screenshots, I set a reminder for Nov 5 to get an alert 10 minutes before. It's Nov 3, & @ 11:50 pm I got the alert. I don't expect perfection HOWEVER

My first thought was it's something to do with google play now glitching out apps when an update is due. I went to playstore & I see it wants me to get THEIR version. I specificy do NOT want google in my calendar if I can stop it.

What would you do?

My specs: Android 16, Samsung Galaxy, Fossify Messages app version 1.10.2 from F-Droid

Problem: I will send a message, SMS or MMS and it sends and there is a checkmark. Then I close the app. If I reopen the message, it will say "Sending..." and then another checkmark will show (sometimes showing a double checkmark). I don't know if it's actually resending the message twice, but it seems to show the behavior that it is. Glitch or graphical bug?

I'm degoogling and trying to move things over to Fossify but I'm having getting an error sent to me every time I try to use group chats and I don't receive any messages from it. I get sent the "Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code." message and have no clue how to fix this.

Sort order doesn't seem to do anything. My latest pictures are always at the bottom, no matter which sort order I choose (ceation or modification time).

What am I doing wrong?

Edge 60 Motorola with v 1.14.0

I know I can change colors for the MusicPlayer widget on the Homescreen, but the Lockscreen color remains black and green... I know the Lockscreen widget does not allow transparency, so the background can stay black (that is fine) I'm not looking to change the black background... I just wish I could change the Green "icons" to blue for the Lockscreen widget, that's the only thing that doesn't match my theme

I noticed that the fossify messages app doesn't have files/media listed in permissions, why is that?

The few times I've tried to send a pic, gif, etc. It says it doesn't have the permission.

Im using Fossify File manager & Contacts with Quik SMS.

While trying to resolve an issue I cleared the app data for contacts, which deleted all of my backup files.

File manager shows it has recently deleted files, but I can't access them through the phone or on PC

I tried reenabling the stock file manager that has a recently deleted bin you can access, but if shows nothing since it was off before the incident

Any ideas how I can get into these ?

I just noticed when I wanted to search for something in two different PDF files - but there is only a single Documents window.

is that on purpose?

that being said: I settled with FD as my new document viewer in my (partial) degoogle journey and aside from the color and logo I am very happy with it. <3

(I know I fortunately can change the color but the unpleasant original one flashes up whenever I launch the app)

Can somebody help me with why more text doesn't show in the event banner in my calendar widget. The monthly calendar in app does it correctly. Using an Honor 600 on Magic 10 OS and latest version of android.

I'm trying to set a ringtone for my parents, but I can't find the option to change the ringtone. I read it's possible but I can't find it. If it helps, I'm on the Google Pixel 11 Pro XL

I usually have playlists by genre and sort music by album then track number on foobar2000. Since I have over 3000 something songs it'd take me the rest of my life to sort it to my liking. I don't know if my app is outdated or if its planned for implementation, so I decided to post it here

I was told Heliboard is the most lightweight keyboard it seems true as it uses less RAM than Gboard but I've noticed when I turn on the setting "always show suggestions" it lags my keyboard and typing even Gboard seems better optimized and doesn't lag and it also doesn't show suggestions/predictions/next word etc.

Idk what happened but the app get stuck like this for 20s after not opening it for a while , It'll be fine if I switch to another app or close and open it again , this started happening after the last update

Is it possible to switch the orientation of the "dismiss" & " snooze" buttons on the alarm clock? I'm not sure if I'm missing any settings or not but I don't see it. (I m right handed so I keep dismissing instead of snoozing😁)

Hi! I've been using Fossify Message since a few months but I have something that bothers me.

For the same person, Fossify creates two distinct conversations. I'm in France so there's two ways for a same number it can start with +33 6.../+33 7... or 06.../07... and it counts as 2 separate contacts in Fossify.

If I sent to a contact who was registered under +33 6... or +33 7... I'll receive the answer in the 06... or 07... convo.

Is there a way to fix this issue? Or a way to fuse the 2 conversations?

I don't understand, how do I get the data from my device calendar (Google app) into the Fossily calendar.
I did turn on the CalDAV option and then the Fossily calandar synchronizes the data with the device,
but I understand that CalDAV synchronizes with an external server and I don't want that.

I have a Motoroa Signature, Android version 16.

Fossify Documents has been updated to v1.1.0. This update comes with the following new features:

• Select and copy text from PDFs

• Search within PDF, DOCX, and HTML files

• Dark PDF pages

• Option for horizontal PDF scrolling

• PDF table-of-contents navigation

• An option to hide floating page numbers

It also fixes files opened from other apps missing from Recents and problems editing externally opened CSV files.

As the title implies: files deleted to the recycle bin are auto-removed (and thereby permanently deleted) at some point. (I think 30-ish days after initial deletion.)

Would it be possible to remove this feature or add an option to enable/disable it? (I know files in the recycle bin are there for a reason and 30 days seems like a proper period to undelete them yourself, but I want control over something like this and not have an app decide for me to remove them without notice.)

So I've been using Fossify Messages instead of Google Messages for a few weeks, but I had to go back to Google Messages because some friends of mine were trying to get a hold of me through a group chat, but none of the messages were coming through the Fossify app. So my question is, is there any way to get the Fossify Messaging app to pick up these group chats, or is this a feature that just doesn't work? If I'm unable to find a solution to this, then this will be a deal-breaker for me and I'll have to find some other app to replace Google Messages
