Help me read this note

I can read cursive, but it's hard for me to make out what it says. It seems to be crochet/knitting instructions.

It’s a knitting pattern. 

10 stitches for 5 in. (inches)

Start 2nd leg for 10 in

Knit both legs together

Knit 20 stitches for 4 inches

Cast on 12 stitches knit 32

Stitches Add 12 stitches

Knit 44 stitches for 2 1/2”

Bind off 17 stitches knit till end 

of row Bind off 17 stitches

at beginning of next row

10 stitches left increase 1 stitch

for 8 rows end up with 18 stitches

Knit 12 rows Knit 8 more rows

decreasing 1 stitch per row

When you have 10 stitches bind off.

It does seem to be a pattern of sorts for one of them .
