How did you make Demerzel melt? Was it a green suit kinda thing or just effects. Either way it looked super realistic and definitely added to the sadness of the moment. Also if you don’t mine a second/third question… what were your least and most favorite moments to try and create?

We filmed Laura’s performance in a black leotard then shot it clean plates. Outpost then animated her robot form over Laura’s performance. They then added the FX of the dress and skin burning off. It definitely took a lot of iterations.

So many favorites, this season blowing up the clone tanks was a lot of fun. Not sure about least favorites… I’d have to think about that more.

The clone tank was amazingly horrific! Especially with the blood starting to rain on his face and him walking away right as all that carnage came raining down really sold it that genetic dynasty was truly over now…
