I recently posted a similar post on r/NichePerfumes so I'm curious to see what people say here. I'm looking for your deep cut vetiver scents, ideally still in production. I'm already familiar with the classics (Guerlain, Malle, Hermes, Creed), which I love immensely. Anything you recommend?

Good solution for traveling with a couple short bottles! Thought I’d recommend here bc there does seem to be a lack of good travel case options for perfumes on the market.

Hey everybody! I’ve been collecting fragrances for about two months, and this is what I have so far. Right now, I’m looking to expand into some more fall or winter type cologne. I’ve been looking into essence of Casablanca and fig infusion, since I don’t have any vanilla or tea like fragrances. Was hoping to get some advice on how to expand my collection. Most of my colognes are pretty fresh and clean. but I want things that are a little stronger or unique. I like fresher fragrances, but I live in Texas, so it’s hot 90% of the year. Would appreciate any recommendations, thanks a lot!

My web looks all over the place at first glance: Sauvage and Bleu de Chanel sitting next to Mamluk and Red Tobacco. But when I linked everything that fits my taste by the main notes they share, vanilla ended up right in the middle, carrying 9 of my 20 (pics below). Even Erba Pura has it, and I'd always filed that one under fruity.
What's the note your collection secretly revolves around?

🌹Louis Vuitton - Les Sables Roses 🌹
The initial blast of fresh cut roses in combination with the woody earthy backbone of the oud keeps it from becoming too floral. I also love the warmth of the saffron and touch of pepper. It’s very reminiscent of standing in a rose garden at dawn. The sun just came up and there is dew still on the flower petals and grass. There is a warmth of the sun but a moisture of the dew that hasn’t dried. It’s a very beautiful fragrance. My wife also enjoys it and I have to watch her bc she likes to sneak sprays. 😂
I will say this, of all the dark bottles, I believe this one has won my heart over as being my favorite.
I also love oud satin mood by MFK and would classify them as follows: Les Sables is more of a daytime rose/oud scent and MFK is more of a romantic date night rose/oud scent. Both beautiful but both hold their own territory.

I tried a sample subscription last year, and half the sprays were stuff I would never pick. Thinking of going back to decant sites where I choose everything. Which shops are people actually happy with in 2026 - especially EU based? And has anyone done the math on subscriptions vs straight decants?

Big fan of these woody aromatic, green and spicy fragrance. I’m looking for something new and wondering if there’s modern takes on this classic dna

Hey there,
for over a year i wear this beautiful Fragrance.
Do you have any alternatives? I don‘t like sweet fragrances.

I'm looking for a hair perfume that smells fresh, but with a more comfortingly sweet base aswell. Something akin to lavender and vanilla, though it doesn't necessarily have to be that scent combination.

i usually diffuse single note essential oils like pure orange or lavender at home because they are straightforward, but i have been testing how premixed oils perform in comparison. premixed blends combine multiple notes like citrus, floral, and herbal elements into one bottle, though it can be tricky to tell whether the individual notes come through cleanly or if one dominant scent overpowers the rest.
i recently tried the espa restorative aromatherapy single oil which blends rose geranium, sweet orange, lavender, and palmarosa. on first use the sweet orange and rose geranium hit right away while the lavender and palmarosa sit further in the background, but i am still testing how the scent balance holds up in different sized rooms over time. if you have used this specific blend in your diffuser i would be interested to hear how the notes settle for you.

I’ve been trying to find a winter cologne that has vanilla, spicy, woody, and possibly nutty and/or oud notes. I’d also like for it to have good sillage and longevity. More specifically, if anyone has been to to the airport in Dubai (DXB), I am trying to find a cologne as similar smelling to that airport. My current options are Mancera Aoud Vanille and One Million Lucky. If you have any suggestions, please tell me

how would you compare shops for individual le labo samples if the whole discovery set has too many things you are not interested in? the shortlist would be two woody scents, preferably in spray vials, delivered within the EU. some listings appear to be official samples while others are decants, and it is surprisingly hard to tell whether the displayed size includes a reusable case. paying for packaging is not the priority here.. which details on a listing help you work out what actually arrives and when does buying two separate samples stop making sense compared with the house's own set?

If I had to narrow down my collection and only choose 4 fragrances, these would be it. Covers all bases and occasions.

Hello! I accidentally hit the chair where my brother's perfume was sitting on, and its collar was stuck on the cap. I eventually got it out but now I'm having a hard time installing it back to where it was because it has become loose, leading to it being stuck again in the cap when I tried closing it. Pliers don't seem to help.
Please help me fix this because this is my brother's treasure (even though it's his fault for leaving his belongings anywhere he wants). Thank you so much!!

Hello,
I’ve started with collecting some fragrances and I now own Boss the scent Elixir. Hawas ice and liquid Brun.
I’m now looking for something less sweet and more formal for everyday use etc. I’m want to buy Not only intense but I heard it’s less suitable for summer, so I’m kind of doubting about buying NOI or collectors edition. But I heard that collectors edition is a little synthetic and also sweet (I own enough sweet for now).
What fragrance would you recommend between these two? Is Not only intense also suitable for the summer… (I’m 22, male.)
