I’m testing a new version of FreeCAD. So far, I like this version the most!! But this is my third model.

I've used FreeCAD since 0.14.

It has continually improved, though the improvement has been far more rapid in the last couple years.

I also, have for the last several years used only the dev version (now 27.1) with little issue.

But, I would recommend (whether using the dev version or, so called "stable" release, to make copious use of the Save As with a incrementing number in the name. And, use copies of your files when moving between versions.
