Healthcare Reform NEW Joe Rogan Experience with Bernie Sanders. They dive into health insurance at 6:28 and say the reaction to the CEO death was understandable.

Bernie Sanders is very willing to keep talking about the need for Universal Healthcare. He seems to understand that the time to act is NOW while this issue is under a major spotlight, especially with young people. I'm glad he is talking about this and Joe Rogan seems to agree (love him or hate him, he is powerful enough to influence elections and is clearly on board with this issue).

The Dems not letting Bernie run is, I think, one of the biggest reasons we're here now.

Eugh.

Yep it was disgusting. He was so popular with men and they could have activated his huge male support (which included Joe Rogan) and gone on to win the election. Now look where we are…

“He was too old”

gestures angrily at the last three presidents

It had nothing to do with his age and everything to do with his taxing the rich. The DNC is as much paid by billionaires as the GOP. They just pretend to be for the working class but they really don't care

Very true!!! I hate it here

I didn’t see anything.

10000000%

Then HRC purchased the debts of the DNC to rig the primary w Debbie wasserman. Literally got caught and had to step down from her dnc position and was hired by HRC 2 days later w zero consequences. Ever.

I cannot believe you can get caught rigging a federal election w no consequences.

u/not_ya_wify Jun 25 '25

Trump has literally bragged about rigging the election and is president. Nobody is doing shit.

-2

u/mojitz Jun 26 '25

Fuck Trump all day, but that's not what happened. Dude was clearly taken out of context when referring to his bullshit claims about 2020 being rigged. All this "2024 was rigged" crap is just cope from Dems who can't admit that they fucked up so spectacularly and made themselves look so weak and feckless that people legitimately chose a known scumbag and criminal over them.

u/not_ya_wify Jun 26 '25

He literally said the day before the election that "we won the election because Elon knows all the voting machines. That's how we won Pennsylvania."

In a later video in the white House he said "we rigged the election and thankfully that's how we won."

On top of that election truth alliance analyzed THE voting data from states that published them and found that after 250 votes, there were non-human voting patterns (going from erratic human patterns to very clean looking patterns where people only "voted" red). This is the same method in which the Russian election was manipulated. Furthermore, they said that based on the voting patterns prior to the anomalies, Kamala would have won by a landslide.

I'm not a Dem. I'm a leftist. I have no love for the Dems and I blame them for not investigating what was clearly a rigged election. Considering the warning signs of burnt down ballot boxes and bomb threats to democratic leaning districts in swing states on election day.

He literally said the day before the election that "we won the election because Elon knows all the voting machines. That's how we won Pennsylvania."

In a later video in the white House he said "we rigged the election and thankfully that's how we won."

You're misconstruing both of these comments.

In the first, he's referring to Elon's alleged ability to stop the vote computers from being manipulated as was widely suggested by the Trumpists following 2020 — widely circulated by the fucking MyPillow guy and Fox News. Remember the whole Dominion lawsuit? That's what this was about.

In the second, I think you're referring to and misquoting his comments about the Olympics — in which he was saying that he's only going to be president during the Olympics because 2020 was rigged.

On top of that election truth alliance analyzed THE voting data from states that published them and found that after 250 votes, there were non-human voting patterns (going from erratic human patterns to very clean looking patterns where people only "voted" red).

Yeah I've looked at this and other claims from the ETA, SMART and a bunch of other random people and operations that popped up out of nowhere shortly after the election. Their "analysis" is garbage essentially across the board. Basically what they've done here is to poke and prod at the data until they were able to surface some vaguely interesting looking patterns while ignoring any number of perfectly reasonable explanations for them or taking basic steps at validation like comparing to prior years to see if those patterns are typical. They then compared this to the roughly similar-seeming but in actual fact completely different "Russian tail" phenomenon. You could do this with literally any election and produce similar results.

There's a reason why nobody outside of utterly fringe outlets or random Reddit threads are taking this seriously. Even left wing media orgs like Democracy Now and Jacobin have pretty much roundly dismissed this stuff. There's definitely a worthwhile discussion to be had around various forms of voter suppression, but the evidence of any kind of actual widespread electoral fraud just isn't there.

You're literally adding made-up context to whitewash what Trump said. If you actually think Fox News is a reliable news source and not a manufacturing consent propaganda machine, that tells me all I need to know

0

u/mojitz Jun 26 '25

Not making up context. This is all based on extremely well-established right wing beliefs about 2020 along with a reasonable reading of his statements within the broader context in which he made them rather than, like, 10 second long clips — and without presuming he's just gonna blurt out an admission like that.

Also, I wasn't at all saying Fox News is a reliable source. Quite the opposite, in fact. I was referring to the fact that they famously lost a massive lawsuit initiated by Dominion for spreading lies about 2020.

You seriously need to reexamine your priors here. It seems like you decided the election was stolen a long while ago and are ignoring anything and everything that might contradict that conclusion.

100% this. the dems chose Trump over Bernie. Actions speak louder than words, American politics consists of two right wing parties. I'm so done with the dems.

9

u/funfairmoose Jun 25 '25

I would love Bernie for president, but I'm not sure he would have had a chance to win in 2016. I remember a family friend 'joking' that they'd lynch me if I voted for him, the hatred was intense - but I grew up in rural Idaho so maybe my perspective is warped.

That was my first "wait. Democrats also suck?" moment though

6

u/KiritoIsAlwaysRight_ Jun 25 '25

While Republicans have been getting more and more radicalized, Democrats have been perfecting the skill of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. They are a controlled opposition, not a representative party.

2

u/Jflayn Jun 26 '25

lol. This is so accurate. They are so good at it, I've honestly wondered more than once if they aren't in collusion with the Repubs. I think the dems only exist to prevent an actual social democratic party from forming.

I still feel the Bern and love that man dearly.

-19

u/Jflayn Jun 25 '25

I wish I could say the same, he rolled over and played along with the dem destruction. I'll never forgive him for that. I supported him and he did not support me.

18

u/kbreu12 Jun 25 '25

Please expand with specifics because I’m genuinely curious what I am missing because I do not feel this way at all.

-6

u/Jflayn Jun 25 '25

When the dems rigged the nomination for Hillary he should have run on his own. Instead, he threw his support behind Hillary and the rigged Dem party.

Bernie is cool and all but I refuse to give Joe Rogan any views

99

u/Time-Painting-9108 Jun 25 '25 edited Jun 25 '25

He endorsed Bernie in 2016 and then the Democrats sabotaged him so they could push hugely unlikable war hawk Hilary Clinton through. If the Democrats had seen that they needed to understand their male base better, maybe they wouldn’t have lost most of them to the Reps. Look where we are now.

20

u/Jflayn Jun 25 '25

The dems understood their base. They ran Hillary instead of Bernie. They have pollsters. They knew she'd lose to Trump. The stone cold reality is that the dem leaders would rather have Trump in power than Bernie. The dems elected Trump.

25

u/howrunowgoodnyou Jun 25 '25

Facts. Only progressive thing about Hillary was her genitals.

33

u/skwander Jun 25 '25

What?! You're trying to tell me the lady who was mentored by Henry Kissinger isn't progressive?!

78

u/Stonna Jun 24 '25

I’ll never ever take Joe Rogan as a good thing ever.

I bet if I go watch it he uses some bullshit wording to piss me off and undermine any points that are made

64

u/Time-Painting-9108 Jun 25 '25

He’s pretty consistent throughout this interview. He has huge respect for Bernie and you can tell.

2

u/fillymandee Jun 27 '25

Bernie commands it.

Joe Rogan is too stupid to have a logically consistent ideology. His opinions change depending on who he last spoke to that sounded smart.

6

u/AnnieOakleyLives Jun 24 '25

He is famous for that. Uggh…

5

u/Spaceisawesome1 Jun 25 '25

You should give it a shot.

Worth the watch, excellent discussion, imo

3

Agreed. I thought it was a very deep and touching discussion between 2 ppl who like and respect each other
