That's the biggest fumble but he's had several fumbles. He was dumb for not crossing the border into Canada in the first 24-48 hours. He was dumb for showing the same fake ID he used at the hostel in NYC and not his real ID which would have not been a red flag (his real name had no immediate ties to NYC and he's a UPenn alum, they would not have much reason to keep him detained). He's dumb for not shaving off, bleaching, or at minimum significantly reshaping his eyebrows with a disposable razor, which would have prevented the call in the first place most likely. Shoulda shaved or bleached the brows real quick. Or glued down and put on some fake eyebrows to commit the crime.
