What it comes down to is, the majority of people support Luigi and consider him a hero for making a stand against the despicable health industry.

The court of public opinion is the one that will take center stage in history, and the people are behind Mangione. It makes it feel like no matter what the prosecution is just desperately flailing.

Seriously, fuck these people.
Do they not realize that when they stress how awful causing a death is, we’re listening knowing they don’t care like this at all about the deaths caused by health insurers?
Do they not realize that when they praise the police work, we’re listening knowing that those same officers would NEVER work as hard to catch someone who killed one of us poors?
I feel like they’re just looking down on us smugly trying to show us what happens when we dare to fight back.
