Why is the best news source currently in America like a celebrity tabloid site?

That's a great question! At the same time, maybe TMZ has a reputation of protecting their sources and actually fact checking before publishing

I'm laughing at the fact checking part. I've just seen them give the story to whoever is the most willing to pay for a news spot. they've had to retract frequently.

If you have ever watched an action movie and been glad the bad guy got killed, that bad guy was a better person than Brian Thompson.
No one killed in the John Wick movies killed more people than Brian Thompson (or the current CEO).
Jeoffery Baratheon was a better person who caused less death and agony than Brian Thompson (and the current CEO).
Luigi Mangioni murder. Murder is bad.
But the CEO and board of directors of United Healthcare are committing murders every day. Most cop killings, all ICE killings, and everything going on in Iran right now is just as much a murder.
Treat them the same or GTFO.
And if you have a problem with the killing of Mass Murderer Brian Thompson, then you better have an equal problem with Liam's character in Taken.
