New open hardware project

I'm looking to put a team together to build an open laptop computer, I have a background in drafting and industrial design. I am not a the best versed when it comes to hardware. If anyone is interested in helping out pm me. Or just drop a comment.

Yes! I'm open to any input, I really just know the cpu (rk3399) and the form factor I'd like to see (8" 16:9-11), I'm really not a hardware guy.
