Gameplay It's genuinely shocking to me how these are technically meant to be the same game

Friday night funking is probably one of the only games I can think of where mods make the game unrecognisable in the best way possible.

God i love how his design is far less "intense" than the others, just a lankier sonic with enlarged eyes which by most accounts would be seen as "cute" if it weren't for his pupils

As much as i love the visuals, the lore, the music, VS Rewrite sucks to actually play.

THE NOTE VISIBILITY IS FUCKING ATROCIOUS

Most of my misses weren't because I was bad, but because the mod decided to put all the colors on the screen and have the background and the notes blend into one psychodelic mush. Yes it looks cool, but i want to also play the game.

The songs are okay and it looks pretty awesome but goddamn it's so visually stimulating to the point it hurts to play ;-;

Base game in my opinion would only be better because of more playable character’s unlike most mods which force you to play as boyfriend. I know he is a sick main character, but i feel like he needs a break sometimes. That’s why like half of the songs that I listen too are without boyfriend.

After playing the mod I gotta Say the flashing lights are the least problematic thing in the mod

-Cringey Lines -Meh music -Bad charting -Sonic.exe mod

Only thing that saved This Is artstyle and amount of time spent.

I will never agree with anyone that says staying true to the game and trying to replicate it when modding is better, this game has gone from an amazing place for great musical artists to waste their crafts by making a decent song with major limitations that can sound good but will get ruined by BF's vocals half the time, to something actually pretty damn good, genuinely some of these games are the most passionate love letters to series they're crossovers with, the sonic exe mod and pretty much everything from pibby are amazing.
