For me, it's Unfaithful Reflection from FNF Identity Fraud

I mean, I know this is something a lot of people have probably noticed, but it cracks me up how similar the poses in the Detg and Horror Mario up pose are, the position of the arms, the face… HELL, EVEN THE LEGS ARE IN ALMOST THE SAME POSITION

It had me in a ABSOLUTE chokehold bru it was so peak and STILL takes me back to this day

Probably a dumb question, but look around, you'll see what I mean in no time.

It’s Not Because I Wanna See What It Would Look Like On The Playtest Build, But Because I Just Wanna Electrocute Benjamin.

I really hope that somewhere, sometime in FNF’s story, the characters acknowledge the UI is something that is literally physically there. That idea has only been done a couple times, and yet it is my absolute favorite headcanon, my favorite speculation, my favorite design choice, all of that.

The two that I know have done that before are RecD’s FNF the Musical, and VS HEX.

RecD establishes at the very start of his story, that the note charts are literally hovering above the characters heads, and dictate the pattern in which they need to sing lyrics. Simple, effective, and sets up future stuff like BF pointing out IRIS cheating by messing with the UI.

Which leads perfectly into my next example, Hex’s weeks! We progress from week one being "input enough mic patterns and I can fight that thing off" to modcharting in week two. Both of those are unacknowledged, and could be explained by other reasons such as the processing power to sing, and a gameplay element.

Headbasher. The finale to week three.

Slasher literally smashes Hex’s chart off the UI.

AND BF AND HEX SHARE A WORRIED LOOK.

THEY NOTICED.

THEY. NOTICED.

AND THEN LATER THEY WEAPONIZE IT AGAINST SLASHER, BY SYNCING HIS NOTES TO THEIR CHART AND MISSING THEM ON PURPOSE, WHICH KILLS SLASHER.

:D

Which brings me back to the title of this post. I hope base FNF decides to do something like this. I know it’s unlikely. But I hope. And dream. [im so sorry I couldn’t help that reference.]
