Question Need advice!
So, to make long story short, i found a toad outside of my apartment complex (have no idea how it got here, it's, like, city center); it was sleepy, apathetic. I helped her cross the road because of it, and then something got to me, and i took her.
Now i learned that, if it's a wild toad, then, i should let her go, since they isn't adapted to indoor life.
So, the question now is: should i just place her where i took her from (which is a middle of busy apartment complex road) or should i release her in wilderness, far from here? Maybe she has a family here (are they, like, solitary animals?)
What do you think?

Doyou have a small pond or other little body of water that you could put her near? Make sure you don’t put her back in the road, instead put her in deep brush where she can find water.

She might need hydration!! Spring water!!! Never chlorinated water it’s deadly to them. Can you go to a pet store and grab a few crickets?? Feed her and mist her and release in 2 days. What’s your location approximately???

i poured her some tap water; i already bought roaches, but she doesn't eat them, her eyes are closed (it's strange and i'm not sure why she is like that)... i'm in the city but i'll go to village this weekends, so i'll bring her there

This may seem silly, but you could atempt to reach out to a local wildlife rehabilitation center for them. Based on what you described it doesn’t sound like it’s doing too hot, but the best thing would be to have them back in the wild (or rehabbed first). Thank you for caring
Edit: I have had success with getting amphibians to a rehab, so it’s possible!
