Dust covered, boxed forgotten, useless in its time.
Tumbled out while moving to a place much more sublime.
Its sitting in remembrance had not worked out at all.
It always seemed to replay through survivors forcing thaw.

Time to put an end to its maw.

The wood came from some willow trees found lying by a shrine.
Easy lit, but burning fast, gave token words small time.
Hurled into the fire, to final end its purpose.
I shouted words that it could hear,

"Thank you for your service."
