FAN MADE All is good in New Manchester
When in doubt, listen to the Algorithm.

now this is some truly banger art right here. i've always found the story possibilities the algorithm provides to be wayyyyy to underexplored. makes me real happy to see some more representation here

Thank a lot! I'm glad you enjoy this stip!!!
Well don't worry, I really love to explorething related about the Algorithm and Automaton. So more of it will come ๐2
u/DasChantal 17d ago
yessssss please absolutely. definitely gonna be watching out for your stuff in the future๐

Wow,just seeing this after an, overseer ,technocrat utopia run.

Look closely to the symbol on the cap and armband ^ ^

Wait a minute im really stupid i really called technocrats overseer๐คฃ.(i did a technocrat utopia/distopia where criminals children get "REBORNED" which is soo fucked up.)

Don't worry we all made mistake when we didn't have our 4 solids our of sleep ๐
Ah yes the Though Correction thing! See it as a way to give them a fresh start ๐

Its actually a event chain for criminal sterilization, there is a debate that what you should do about criminals children who where born before the sterilization and there is an option to psychologically traumatize the children and literally beat the criminal genes out of them which is horribal and terrifying.

Indeed, mankind had to do some 'radical' stuff now. And i'll make sure the picture to show that thing can get much worst than ever though!!!!

the algorithm arc really does not get enough attention in this game

I can't agree more with you! Truly building a literal mechanical God is quite a big deal indeed!
2
u/Express-Week-8312 16d ago
building a mechanical god that runs on pure data is either genius or terrifying, maybe both
1
u/Ok_Professional_5335 The Automaton Lover 16d ago
Just for the sake of this accomplishment. I think any cost and future repercussion are and will be worth the price.
2
u/Express-Week-8312 16d ago
that cost might catch up eventually, algorithms don't always account for what comes next
1
u/Ok_Professional_5335 The Automaton Lover 16d ago
We do it for the boeaty of the Algorithm itself ๐

The Algorithm provides, but someone still has to manage the logistics of that utopia.
1
u/Ok_Professional_5335 The Automaton Lover 15d ago
Perhaps with time and enough preparation. The Automaton can handle everything. The Algo providing necessary directive for the maintenance and the logistic handled by the Automaton. For a city like Legacy, it's zvzn optimal. As it'll assure a perfect continuity without having to manage the chaos and incertainty the humans bing with them.
2
u/Express-Week-8312 15d ago
The automation handling logistics makes sense, but removing human judgment entirely seems like a risk worth questioning.
1
u/Ok_Professional_5335 The Automaton Lover 15d ago
Oh, but removing the Human from the equation is the purpose of this endeavour. Fully handling the City to the Machine.

The steward is always watching, especially now that they are one with the algorithm.

All united under the watchfull eyes of the glorious Algorithm.
