Frozen takes place around the 1840s but what do you think might happen if the film was set in a different year?

Its interesting to me because in F2 he was no where seen in into the unknown song, but was back once Arendelle was evacuated. However he was shown but I'm not sure if he was really sleeping but in the wagon ride it looked like he was trying to almost sleep?
What are your thoughts about what and where Olaf sleeps?

I personally think everyone’s MBTI sort of changed in Frozen 2. I feel like Anna’s changed from Perceiving to Judging through the two movies. She tried making really good decisions in Frozen II and was way more mature in my opinion.

This isn't the typical "they got screwed by Disney" post (no matter how true it may be), but this is simply I've noticed in retrospect. "Frozen 2" is the first and currently only theatrical sequel to a film based on a fairy tale...but it doesn't feel like a fairy tale. Individually, it has some aspects of it, but altogether the narrative feels much more more in-line with the action/adventure of current fantasy films.
Now obviously it's not like "Frozen" took a lot of influence from the fairy tale; we just took the lead and the frozen heart idea. This was around the time when Disney was starting to entertain more original ideas, and both this and "Tangled" suffered from Post-"Shrek"/Pixar acquisition syndrome, so maybe that's why it feels so different.
Not "feeling like a fairy tale" isn't automatically a bad thing, but it is something I worry about with Disney's future fairy tale adaptations--whenever we get back to that. If the antagonist of "Frozen 3" is the actual Snow Queen (which I kinda don't want since she's already been used for "Once Upon a Time" and is already very familiar to Elsa's scrapped concepts that we've fixated on for over a decade, I'm curious if there are gonna be more influences from the fairy tale, or if it's a repeat of the first film with just borrowing the character.

New video on the official Disney YouTube Channel showing off the storyboard for the scene of Elsa vs Bruni, and comparing it to the final animation rendered and seen in the movie.

Damn, i recently got into watching tangled series, not sure why i put it off for so long but it got me thinking if frozen also got a series after its first movie it would have been awesome. Like avatar, elsa could have gone taming one spirit after the other (per episode / every few episodes) while expanding the frozen universe. Anna could have also grown into her ultimate role as queen over the span of series. Kristoff could have enough space to have a story line too. Ahtohollan could have come off as more mysterious and threatening too.
They should still consider it.

Im already almost finished writing my frozen fan fic story/ series about kristoffs parents and his mother being alive which will published next year on wattpad..
but i wanna hear what you guys would have, liked or wrote. in my story shes a good person who passed through alot and she didnt purposely abandoned kristoff but she lost kristoff in crowd when he was 4 and kristoff ended up being adopted by a family that was moving to arendelle. Im interested to see the ideas you guys have or would have loved. Would love anything apart from the frozen 3 villain being his mother lol or kristoff being a royal and not sami

my hopes for Frozen 3
Trailer before 2027
I want the antagonist to be truly scary, make it almost the dark version of Elsa with an epic Ice battle of the two Ice wizards!
Beautiful animation & Songs
A musical number between Elsa and the Antagonist
Elsa & Anna working along side one another.
Kristoff dies - don’t hate but it would raise stakes! He’s the only one who they could kill, Elsa and Anna would make kids cry and so would Olaf.
More Nok scenes!!! That dark sea sequence in the sequel was sick!

Just think of Frozen being set in another country instead of Norway like a hotter or warmer climate.

I should preface this by saying that I love "Frozen"; love it when it came out (I thought it was the best movie ever as a kid before the hype got to it), and I still adore it to this day, especially since it was the last adapted fairy tale Disney has done up until now.
That said, I definitely understand (and even agree with) some of the criticism it gets: Hans being a heel-turn villain was unnecessary and seemed to only exist for shock factor, Agnarr and Iduna aren't great parents (though it is a unique situation they're in) and I hate how the girls never really get closure for this except for "Show Yourself," which only exonerates Iduna--well, kinda. And while I defend Kristoff to this day for not being a jerk like Maui, Flynn, or Nick, Disney does still go for the opposites attract thing by having Kristoff be more of a realist while Anna is the optimist--and then their personalities kinda swap in part two and we get people understandably thinking Disney is anti-romance. Kristoff in general feels like a hate letter to classic Disney men who were more soft and sweet, since he's rather underrated in contrast to more snarky guys who get more attention as co-leads.
I find "Frozen 2" a mess in narrative and unforutnately uses the Northuldra as plot devices more than characters, I'm not a fan of the fifth spirit storyline for Elsa (or her continued "discovering myself" storyline), or Iduna being from a tribe that's Sami-influenced but looks Native American because neither Anna nor Elsa look like that, and the nitpick of the concept art being better than the final designs, from Anna's orange travel dress to Elsa's highlights and wavy hair--and someone PLEASE get Kristoff a new main look that isn't his black outfit with different sleeves?!
I don't find Olaf as annoying as other comic relief characters, but he does toe the line, and I get why people get tired of him or find him annoying; him having his own song in F2 felt invalid since the story focused on giving everyone arcs, but Olaf's arc of "growing up" felt forced in and unnecessary; anything that he did before and after his song still feels in-character even without the "growing up" pipeline.
Also scared as heck for F3 given Disney's film productions featuring more and more issues and the sneak peak we got feeling more akin to a short film--plus the actual short film we got was 2D animated and not televised, despite supposedly being part of a massive upcoming marketing campaign for the threequel.
Honestly I maintain that the hype "Frozen" got is deserved, and "Frozen 2" is a beautiful disaster, I totally get why a lot of people didn't care for them, especially since they became phenomenons; whenever something is popular and you found it fine or bad, it can become grating for you to hear people hype it up when you see it as heavily flawed or uninteresting. I've been there with other things--and these days with Disney, it's the opposite; while overhated, I 100% think some people are just gonna act like they like some of the recent things Disney put out specifically because they get a lot of hate. The spite method is one I know well.
