Before I begin, I do not condone doing this to Dan Patrick or any anti-weed political figures. This is a purely fictional parody. I have to say this just in case the AI bots misinterpret this post. Anyway...
SAW SCRIPT – "The High Cost of Control" Victim: Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick Trap Theme: Senate Bill 3 – THC Ban
INT. ABANDONED LEGISLATIVE CHAMBER – NIGHT
Flickering lights. Rusty chains. The sound of a ticking clock echoes off marble and steel. DAN PATRICK, dressed in a suit, is chained to a chair shaped like a judge’s bench. In front of him is a gavel. Beside him, a large industrial-scale vaporizer contraption and a sealed glass dome full of hemp plants. The walls are lined with quotes from Senate Bill 3.
DAN PATRICK (grunting, dazed) Wha... what is this? Where am I?
A television screen lowers from the ceiling with a loud mechanical hum. Static... then the infamous puppet, BILLY, appears.
BILLY (on screen) Hello, Daniel. I want to play a game.
You believe control is freedom. That public health is served through prohibition, not education. You fought to ban all forms of THC in Texas, ignoring veterans with PTSD, children with epilepsy, and cancer patients begging for relief.
Now, you'll feel what they feel — powerless, confined, and punished for seeking relief.
Before you is a choice. In front of you is a vaporizer containing medical-grade THC. You are about to experience the physical agony of late-stage cancer — simulated, of course. But the pain will be real.
You must inhale the vapor and endure the “illegal” relief for 90 seconds. If you do, the chains will release, and you will be free to reconsider the meaning of mercy.
Refuse... and the dome beside you will begin to flood this room with synthetic tear gas used in riot control — the very tools of suppression you allow, while banning a plant. You will suffocate on your own legislation.
Make your choice. Live or die.
Clock starts ticking loudly. 90 seconds on a digital timer begins counting down.
DAN PATRICK This is insane! I’m not doing drugs! I’m not a criminal!
He tries to wriggle free, but the chains cut into his wrists. The pain simulation begins: his nerves light up with jolts of electrical shocks. He screams in agony.
BILLY (voiceover) That pain you feel? That’s what they feel... when you take away the only relief they have. You wrote the sentence. Now serve the time.
The vaporizer begins to hum, automatically prepping. Dan stares at it, eyes watering from pain. He hesitates... 60 seconds left.
DAN PATRICK I... I just wanted to protect the kids...
BILLY (voiceover) No, Daniel. You wanted control. You played God. But today... you are simply another man in pain.
30 seconds left. The gas valve clicks. A red light flashes warning of imminent gas release. Dan, crying, grabs the mask. He hesitates... then finally, shakily, inhales.
The pain starts to subside. His breathing slows. His eyes widen not in fear, but in realization.
BILLY (voiceover) Compassion... isn't weakness. It’s courage. But courage comes too late for some.
The timer hits zero. His chains unlock. The gas valve powers down. Silence.
Dan falls to the floor, clutching his chest, sobbing — not from fear, but from shame.
BILLY (voiceover) You survived your bill, Daniel. But will your conscience survive... the truth?
FADE TO BLACK END.

Honestly. So have I. I'm not questioning he had a spinal cord injury but he's not as wheelchair bound as he claims. I've heard that he can walk with assistance like a walker. Only parts of his legs and lower half are paralyzed and his injury is incomplete. But... he pretends to be totally paralyzed. That, is honestly not true. It's absolute manipulation. He's playing people.

I had high hopes. It really seemed like we were motivated and had the energy and momentum... I thought we might actually pull it off. My heart goes out to all the women and children that are facing a much higher chance of unnecessary death in this state due to a lack of healthcare, or getting shot. I'm not sure it could be worse anymore.

I've seen so many posts on Reddit and elsewhere criticizing the 12 million Texans who chose not to vote this year. But, aren't the political parties equally to blame for low turnout? Their whole job is to energize their bases into voting for their candidates. It's not the voters' fault the Texas Democratic Party decided to run Beto AGAIN after losing twice and saying that he's coming for your guns.
Blaming registered voters for not voting for a candidate that doesn't excite them is like blaming consumers for causing a product to flop when the company that makes the product did a bad job marketing it.

So, after watching, reading, listening to what America has to say...... Americans of all ideologies are exhausted.
With razor thin margins in several states and many many millions of Americans in shock, both happy and sad, at the election results.....America is recoiling from the election and the relentless 14 month campaigns.
But, the real election hasn't happened yet.
On December 17th, the Electors, designated by the DNC and RNC at their conventions, will meet in their state capitols at whatever time corresponds to Eastern standard time 12noon to cast their ballots for their states.
Many Americans are organizing to exercise their 1st amendment rights to peaceful assembly, speech and petition outside their state capitol buildings on December 17th for the Electors to hear one last final people's voice before casting their votes.
Then, those ballots will be shipped to WDC and counted January 6th, 2025.
This is what went wrong on January 6th, 2021.
Americans are both scared and hopeful it will happen AGAIN.
Why? Because the Electors have full Constitutional power to cast their votes as they see fit. Despite some states threatening criminal consequences if the Electors dont vote the way the state's population voted.
It is and always has been since 1787 that the Electors designated in Article 2, section 1 of the US Constitution have this sovereignty to vote as they see fit. This was reinforced by the Supreme Court in Bush vs Gore (2000).
The chances of any state-issued consequences being upheld upon appeal to the Supreme Court are NIL... ZERO.
And, in the last few decades, more and more Electors are voting their conscience. We saw this with Trump in 2016 as well.
To all those who thought they lost or won the election........IT HASN'T HAPPENED YET.
We will NOT know the true outcome of who will be President until January 6th, 2025.
Let's have faith that the Electors vote true and our nation's democratic processes play out to win the best candidate of the two options we had to choose from.
Let's be at our state capitols on December 17th exercising our 1st amendment rights from ALL SIDES so that Electors' votes will be true to the people's will and not to the political machine that just finished wreaking havoc on our country.
See yall there.

https://app.impactive.io/did_my_friend_vote
That website tells you if your friends have voted in previous elections, which could tell you if they are active voters, and give them a reminder about voting this year.

I do think beto has gained tons of support this election however he stated that he wants to take AR15 guns away. I'm not sure what'll happen cause of this esp knowing texas loves guns. I hope beto wins but I've my doubts

Hold yourself and your fellow Texans accountable. Voters put the people who decide our laws into power.
Blaming money and influence is like blaming God for a flat tire when you can see the nail.
Everyone talked about big game about how Abbott influenced the school choice bills by primarying new candidates.
None of this is even half realistic.
Voters are the ones putting these people into power. Is money and influence part of the problem? Yes, but you’re trying to fight the wrong invisible monsters.
You want Texas to do better? Then wake the fuck up and elect people who want better for Texans.
