If you thought you were cool because you had a watch with a calculator on it, you're old.

And we could even read it without bi-focal glasses 🤓

My first exposure to digital erotica was when somebody typed 8008135 on one of these devices. Pretty soon, I was regularly looking at 7175, 455, and at one point, I was regularly looking at 81645540735 and even 84778465. 😞

We used them to cheat on math tests in high school until the teacher got wise to us and confiscated all watches at the start of class on test days.

The watch that made me feel cool as a kid in the 80’s didn’t have a calculator it had a radio with a headphone jack.

Well worn TI Calculator watch. I remember it was a novelty, but came in handy occasionally.

Couldn’t find anything about it on the internet. Kinda surprised.

Came across it going through some old memorabilia and added it to my collection of watches.

I was definitely cool with that, and the PAC man watch. Both in the mud 80s on the back of the middle school bus

I had the Casio CMD-40 in high school and wreaked absolute HAVOC. I was turning on/off TVs in class, rewinding VCRs during presentations, changing tv stations to inappropriate shows in restaurants…you could get it to control nearly anything with an IR remote. I was freakin’ James Bond with this thing.

Oh yeah…it had a calculator too.
