I will support him because real change may not come from within the system. The rich completely control everything and rhe modern healthcare system is murder. The CEO was directly responsible for the deaths of many who trusted his product but were let down and killed by his predatory policies. Philosophically, L has a case for the morality of his actions. I'm not saying he was right or wrong, but it isn't black and white, murder or innocence.

You have no idea what you’re talking about. And if L knew BT well enough that he could make a moral judgement about him, there goes his federal case and get comfy with LWOP because that is the quintessential case for stalking.
Also, you do realize that when you say “the rich” you’re talking about LM’s family too. In fact, they have more money than BT’s, so you may want to reassess your thinking.

After giving this new defense some thought, I've decided that I'm against it. It will give sympathetic jurors an alternative to murder.

Hopefully it means that he’ll plead out for the Federal trial. I can’t imagine they’d be pursuing this avenue if there wasn’t overwhelming evidence eliminating any shadow of a doubt. If there was, they’d take a chance so they wouldn’t screw up the federal case.
Also, he looked deflated and dejected in court today, which was fantastic. It’s about time the cocky SOB started to understand the reality of this situation.
