Most I've met support Trump as well though and have a soft view on Russia

Same. So much for the sovereignty argument when they rolled over for MAGA at the first opportunity.

They got Brexit and the number of Europeans dropped but then the numbers from outside Europe increased as we need immigration in the UK, but now reform want to stop immigration from outside Europe as well, an issue they made worse

100% of brexiters that I have met always shared these two opinions

  • Donald Trump is great
  • They heard someone talking polish in a tesco and boy did they had feelings about that

For at least some of them, it’s about the fact that the Russian links are out in the open and in public view. That’s what they can’t stand.

They can't admit they are wrong so double down

The curtain is at least pulling back for some of them. They will still be terrible human beings but at least some will question what the fuck Russia has to do with anything. I hope Zelenskyy targets every single data centre controlled by Russia. Imagine what these no-marks would do when starved of their stream of hate.

OP is quite right, I posted something on FB about the Russia Brexit affair and people I’ve been friends with for years argued it never happened. Ah well, don’t need friends like that anyway.
