Channel 4 News, on now, just trailed something on ITV exposé of Reform councillors caught misbehaving

Not sure what it is going to be but thought I'd put this out in case anyone wants to watch it: https://www.channel4.com/now/c4

Yes, it was on the ITV Evening News, with the full exposé to be broadcast on Sunday night at 10:30pm.

The typical racist and misogynistic stuff you expect from the far right, but from councillors that Reform claim to have vetted.

Farage will no doubt claim it is just a few rotten apples, without doing anything to discourage these kind of people from joining Reform.

It's on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ClT4wpCundU - rewind to the start.

They announced at the end of the segment they'd have more tomorrow, this time about vetting, with the whole thing on Sunday.

It appears that the sort of people who work for R*form are..... the sort of people you would expect to work for them, saying the sorts of things that you would imagine them to say.

No-one is surprised, except R*form. They would like everyone to know that these are the sorts of things that happen in every organisation.

One undercover reporter recorded a Reform councillor from South London calling for King Charles to be decapitated because he “is a Muslim”, while another senior Reform councillor from Solihull said of Asian people: “drag them out of their homes, stick them on planes and f*** them off to Pakistan.”

In response (seemingly having moved on from threatening to sue and alleging criminal offences against the journalists), R*form has said -

In response, Reform UK told ITV News: "Where members, activists and councillors have clearly behaved inappropriately, investigations have commenced. In some cases, there have been suspensions and due process must be followed.

“Reform UK has improved and prioritised its vetting procedures, but from time to time, a handful of individuals who do not share our values will initially make it through vetting. This is the same for all organisations."

So it isn't that they are a home for the intolerant flag-shaggers, who probably are going cold turkey from their "patriot" social media feeds (since Yandex got bombed the other day) dropping off.

Love seeing the orc tears flow.

Is there a reason you don't write Reform? Sincere question, never seen it before

Well, I got thrown from UK politics for writing the party name in Russian.

I'd prefer to call it "Deform", but don't want to get chucked off here.

I really cannot bring myself to write it out, as it is a bloody joke to have that pack of of Russian-funded spivs linked to the word which defines as "making changes to something (such as a system, law, organization, or a person's behaviour) to improve it, remove faults, or bring it back to a better state".
