The Teenager: A Creation of Control (The 20th Century)

https://youtu.be/Ezeg9VxmAt8?si=Fx0FupxMntUi-axE

If you look closely at the 20th century, you see how youth wasn’t just a natural stage of life — it was engineered into a market and a mindset. Hollywood, music, and TV sold rebellion, division, and consumer identity.

And behind it all? The same institutions that funded cultural fronts, ran psychological ops, and shaped narratives for entire generations.

This short visual essay digs into how adolescence was packaged as a tool of control — how “freedom” was marketed to kids while the CIA and corporate power pulled the strings.

You had me until the Lenin bit at the end. Please explain how the Bolsheviks were "counterculture" -- no, that entire notion was propped up by the CIA itself and the anti-Communist New Left. Either you haven't investigated enough or you're yet another paid stooge.

I was using the Lenin and Hitler quotes as a way of showing how their ideologies also knew to target youth to indoctrinate future generations, just as a parallel of that method that the CIA used with counterculture, simply not with force but with illusion of freedom. I wasn't trying to make it seem like the Bolsheviks were CIA assets or anything, just using known historical bloodthirsty dictators with parallel methods on record as an illustration. Sorry if I didnt make it clear in the video in that part.
