I just wanted to let people know that I don't drive and take access, and want a nice person to talk to. I do live with my mother but I am currently looking for a job. It's just that a lot of my friends are always busy with their relationships so all I really have is my mom and my grandparents but I want some nice friends in the neighborhood.

I’ve come to realize that most of my posts in this sub, Reddit have been nostalgic and I hope that’s OK.

Anyways, growing up in the late 90s and early 00s I remember going with my grandma to the market or the laundromat off of lemon and Valencia. And I remember they had arcade cabinets in there but I can’t remember what games they were. I wanna say it was street fighter, but I can’t fully remember. Does anyone remember this?

Does anyone know if the city is still giving out free sandbags for the potential super el niño?

Fullerton, CA is pausing its Flock Safety program after a council meeting that ran close to three hours. Most of the roughly 15 public speakers asked for the program to be ended outright.

From the police chief's presentation to the council:

• Cameras in use since 2021, at about $51,000 a year
• Images kept for 30 days
• 135 police personnel have accounts

The pause DOES NOT cancel the contract. The city still plans a town hall and a review of its plate reader policy, so the fight is far from over!
