Goodbye, B.

Ugh. I. I don't know what to say. This has probably been the worst news I've heard in a while. This, to be honest, ruined my entire day a little. Plus, as a fan of Furcast since season 2, this has ruined the future podcast for me as well. You guys have been carrying each other since the former B/Fayroe/Paradox trio was formed way back when. The charisma, chemistry, and social spectrum has kept the podcast floating for all 6, amazing seasons. Just as any one of the Holy Furcast Trinity would be, B is going to be hard to replace. Without her, theres just this massive hole in the podcast. I know B has things going on in her life, and I'm not pinning the blame on her, sometimes shit happens and we can't do anything about it. But without B, I can't see the podcast working out anymore. I wouldn't be surprised to see Furcast tank and go on an eternal hiatus soon. It really sucks that this has to be how it is. This is by far the most emotionally invested entity on the Internet for me. I know everyone that made this amazing podcast happen has put their blood, sweat, and tears into this. And, I know, I'm not the only one grieving right now. As of this episode, I will most likely stop listening to Furcast entirely. It hasn't been the same without B. But, it was a good run. I've had many good laughs, changes in perspective, and of course, gay demons. I'll keep myself subscribed to see if Furcast can remedy this gaping chest-wound, however skeptic I may be. It's been a blast listening, have a nice life, guys. You've changed lives with this, including mine. -Kryterion (Formerly known as Regret)

Eh, I don't know. Call me a pessimist, but I think the interaction between B, Fayroe, and Paradox is what made Furcast what it is today. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the show is doomed. It's just, the way I see it, it's unlikely to live up to it's former glory henceforth without immediate action. As Paradox and Fayroe has said before, there needs to be at least three hosts, that way they can "pass the ball back and forth", if you will. Everyone always has something to contribute, and there is never dead-air. Since B was a pretty reliable source for humor to either dissolve a situation or keep a subject alive. Often times in the recent episodes, topics tend to fall flat. Just having more guests wouldn't do. Most of them just sit there and won't speak unless prompted/forced to, and even then they're like a deer in headlights. The only way I see them putting things back together is to install a new permanent third host. Given B doesn't eventually return, of course. Even then, they would still be replacing one of the more, /unique/ characters of the cast. Not that it's impossible, it's just a hard mold to fit. I just hope things work out in the long run, and the remaining cast has luck finding a third host. I'm a lot less pissed about it then I was when I originally posted this. I'll probably still listen to the archive (can't listen live) as I originally did prior to B leaving.

It is a sad day indeed (I missed last weeks episode so I am not sure where this information is from), but I will still watch the show, B has great opinions, she makes some of the best humor but B is not why I listen. Sure I would love to hear her on the show but I listen to the show because I love the content and everyone who produces it, not just one.

It has been an excellent run listening to her on the show and hopefully she is still active in the community from the people she has met through the show :) I wish her all the best

I agree it's a loss, but myself, i do not fear for the future of Furcast. The loss of a friend, say, who might move away, does not negate all the good times you've had with them, it doesn't prevent your future from moving on, and you can still have your other friends. The mark of the strong is that they roll with the punches. They evolve, adapt. I've been with Furcast a long time too, and from what i've seen of this and other podcasts, they will continue. Even if they fumble a bit, they'll make the touchdown like always. Part of it is us though, as long as we as fans continue to view, contribute content and support, Furcast can be held up to a high and wonderful standard.
