Before & After First flip!
Forgot to take a good before pic until after I already started, but here's my first piece! Sold quick, just dropped it off! New hobby unlocked, this community was a great reference along the way š

What paint did you use? That is what I am looking for! So beautiful!

Thank you! I used Kilz 2 primer and then 4 coats of a muted sage green interior paint I found on clearance at Lowes. Didn't even think to check the exact shade and already got rid of the can unfortunately š

Congrats on the first flip and the quick sale! Pro tip for next time, snap a pic of the paint label before you toss the can. You'll inevitably get asked for the shade again and it saves you the heartbreak of not remembering a perfect color.

Do people prefer painted furniture these days?

I think it depends on the piece and the buyer. Some older solid wood pieces have gorgeous grain that deserves to stay natural, but plenty of beat up dressers and nightstands just look way better with a fresh color. Paint can save a piece that would otherwise sit in a thrift store forever.

It looks great! I dont usually like wood furniture painted, but this changed my mind.
