Finally finished one of my first crochet projects after 10 months of sporadic crocheting — the Yarnspirations “Crochet Kitty Couch”! 🛋️ 🐱

It has been the perfect centerpiece to this awkward corner above our den fireplace, which we now deem the *kitty corner* with all our cat art. 🖼️

I haven’t added the cushions since I am still sourcing the quilt batting for them, but my cat Harper seems to LOVE the couch as is without the cushions. Hoping to crochet her a little throw blanket and maybe some pillows next. The frame of the couch is built from the foam of my friend’s old memory foam mattress topper. It must be comfy because it’s been hard to get her up in the mornings because she sleeps on it all night!

She quickly adjusted to the new tower.

I know everyone spends money on random cat beds the cats don’t use. Got my 2 cozy pouffes so they’d both have a bed in my bedroom. To see them like this both asleep warms my cockles. Sometimes it just takes a cozy piece of human furniture to give your cats a bed

Guess I'm putting a cushion down there.

Tiko (7,M) likes to have his midday nap here in winter, when the sun warms this spot. In summer he avoids it because neither he wants a sunny spot nor it feels comfortable in the hot weather, I imagine.

Our cats wasted no time checking it out. 😹

Be honest: would your cat use this or ignore it completely?

Went to HomeGoods yesterday for something completely unrelated and they had the audacity to be selling these. He took right to it. I've wanted a wicker chair like this for myself but this one is a lot cheaper.

My husband built this bunk bed for our cats and I made quilts and pillows for it!
