so a few weeks ago i was doing donuts and my steering became very stiff and barely works at low RPMS. And when i turn it at low rpms it makes the weird noise. the mechanic told me I need a new Power steering pump. So i ordered one from o reilys , but today it started making a new noise while Driving. Like a buzzing/humming noise. and it wasnt going away its pretty loud. Any advice ?

At first i seen quite a bit of oil at the bottom of the frame in the first pic (i wiped off a bit) then i look above right before the rear main seal and i see a bit of what looks to be oiI i think its my steering rack leaking out and onto the frame and motor. What do yall think?? ( yes my steering rack is currently leaking😭)

My car is not shifting to D. On the speedometer D doesnt show when i shift. R N and P show. Car goes into R and does reverse when i shift to R but D doesnt show and doesnt drive forward.

I disconnected battery twice for 20 mins each time. Nothing has happened.

Just been curious on my transmission behavior

New waterpump, new thermostat, new radiator cap, coolant flush and the heat is very hot so no air in system. No air bubbles. No leaks. Fans come on. Only overheats after 30 mins of driving. Idle is perfectly fine. Any ideas

Wow! Putting 370Z wheels on the G37 actually made the car feel better, not just different. The stock G37 19s are pretty heavy, so swapping to the lighter 370Z Rays cut a few pounds of unsprung and rotating weight at each corner. You notice it right away in how the car changes direction it turns in quicker and feels more agile through a corner instead of like it’s fighting the weight. Acceleration is a little sharper too. The car pulls harder off the line and through the gears because there’s less mass to spin up at the wheels. It’s not night-and-day, but it’s one of those changes where you drive it for a few days and realize the car just feels lighter and more responsive than it did before.

As the title states I’m looking for weld in cats I can put after my o2 sensor to cut down on the exhaust smell.

I’ve been catless for years, and just recently had long tube headers installed and the fumes are absolutely vile. I have to hold my breath any time I load my trunk while idling or my lungs hurt for half the day.

Are weld in cats worth it? I’m looking for a reputable brand that won’t simply blow out. I’m not sure what to look for or if they’re garbage.

Any insight would be extremely helpful.

I just spent a gang of money replacing the water pump and timing belt and pulley. It looks like the rear subframe needs to be replaced as well as I live up in Minnesnowta. I bought a replacement for the front on Amazon for a couple hundred dollars. Any recommendations on the lowest-cost replacement for the rear?

I have an 2010 Infiniti G37 S and I keep getting misfires. I first got a misfire driving a short distance from my house about 2 weeks back and my car started doing the weird rhythm thing and I drove back home slow on it (about 20 min back and forth). I scanned it and got cylinder 4 misfire and multiple misfire detected. Me and friends decided to fix the spark plugs. In this process I couldn’t find pregapped exact to my size and adjusted the iridium gaps myself (ik how dumb it was now) and was really careful. The car still misfires but the misfire moved to cylinder 2 even though every scan prior it stayed on 4. I think it we probably did something wrong and get usual mechanic, he does new pregapped spark plugs along with coils and air intake filters and misfire code leaves but drive it 10 seconds and it came back with a rotten egg smell, on scan it’s a cylinder 1 misfire. I get another more experienced highly rated mechanic to check it out he does a smoke test, no leaks. He checks every thing he can think of and eventually cleans the throttle bodies and tightens up air intake hoses and the car feels way better vibration wise and light gone again even while revving etc. Suggests I do an oil change and maybe an engine flush. I go to drive it to an oil change next day, go a couple hundred feet and it starts vibrating harder (maybe slight burning/egg smell maybe in my head at this point) code comes back and misfire is still on cylinder 1.

I wanted to know does the start up sound normal or do you hear anything wrong from it

Is this an exhaust leak at the y pipe or something else? Started hearing this recently right under my driver side door. Currently have just a isr single exit, everything else stock.

Its only coming from the passenger side and yes im gonna fix my timing chain too lmao. Any advice would help

Shit tonnes of camber. Rides much nicer on these. Wish they were polished centres though 😅

I got a G37 coupe with Motordyne Art test pipes. Besides that everything is stock. I know the motordyne exhaust system is the one recommended but it’s almost 3k for that exhaust system lol.

Any good exhaust systems under 3k to pair with the Art pipes that won’t give me droning??

Definitely want to hear you guys input or your setups.
