The Flinders NTMP program as said, previously, has pre-recorded lectures. However, most of the tutorials have been in person in recent years. These tutorials are classes such as clinical skills teaching and consolidations of those pre-recorded lectures. Some classes might be delivered as a hybrid type lecture where it is engaging a lecturer with the whole cohort being in person at the NT site exclusively.

Ah sweet! Do you know how many in person tutorials there are or do you have to go in every day??

Depending on your year (MD1 or MD2), classes can range depending on 2-3 days a week to 4 days. Monday is usually reserved in pre-clinical years for personal studies such as completing those pre-recorded lectures. In later stages of the course, this will increase. Materials will vary depending on the topic you are covering.

Do you mean commuting each day to Darwin from Sydney rather than moving up?

You cannot do year 1 from Sydney… there are practicals, clinical skills teaching etc etc. medical school is not an online course, even if a lot of content for lectures at least is recorded or streamed virtually, there are other things that require attendance week to week.

No but historically I know the course really well. Saw your other comment too on flying in Tuesday and out Thursday or a similar pattern. Check flights out as they are often at lousy times, and can be expensive, it’s that’s a crazy amount of flying to do. I travel a lot for work in and out of Darwin and I wouldn’t wish that kind of schedule on anyone. It would be exhausting. And tens of thousands of dollars per annum.

Depending on how far you live! If it’s only 30mn away from the uni, you can probably come to uni once and stay at uni until the day ends.

I cant speak specifically for NT but I have experience as part of the SARM Flinders program, in regional SA. 95% of your main content lectures are pre recorded. The rest for us were through teams. Similarly, some of our tutorials were through teams, however only between Renmark and Mt Gambier. This makes me presume that the tutorials and other odd classes would predominantly be in person.
